Food was great, but they need to have a better way of getting food to the customers who order from the bar. You shouldn't have... to walk up to the bar every ten minutes to check on your order just because you're not sitting at a table. I lost 2 orders andhad to wait longer because my food was given to the wrong person. Read more

Wow! I went here a few nights ago, as a friend explained the place to me: an Italian-ish restaurant that had an inside-outside... setting (with two different menus), a beer garden downstairs, with a fancier restaurant upstairs, with live music, located nextto the racetrack. It seems like a lot going on at the same time and I knew my ADD would be in overdrive, but we went anyway, and boy, glad I went!! They started with some cocktails before ordering our food. I got a rye straight up and my friend got awonderfully fresh Tom Collins (vodka). We ordered the General Tso's calamari and zucchini flowers with buffalo mozzarella asappetizers, before we had the eggplant with rigatoni in a delicious creamy pink sauce, along with a bibb lettuce salad. I lovezucchini flowers and these were good, but there is a small window of time when you have to eat them, as they get cold fast (andthe mozzarella stops being creamy and becomes too firm). They were tasty (but a little wet. The calamari was also tasty, asthe GT sauce was a nice change from the traditional, although the squid did not seem the freshest. Both were pretty good. I'm abig fan of eggplant and I was very impressed with how delicious it was and how tasty the red sauce was, and equally impressedwith the rigatoni done perfectly (al dente) with the most delicious pink sauce. Very tasty. With the dinner we ordered a prettynice bottle of Chianti Classics (although the menu listed it only as Chianti). Beginning to end the meal was a blast. Gooddrinks, nice dinner, nice wine, beautiful night outside and lots going on. Now about the entertainment: I LOVE live music andheard the band was good. They were pretty loud, but sitting outside, upstairs, a little away from them was helpful in not beingoverwhelmed by the music. The band was the "Moroccan Sheepherders" and while we heard them play exciting sets of classic rock(Chicago, The Stones, Yes, Boston, ACDC, etc.), it was when we went to the downstairs law Read more

I had been coming here for years and tonight was my first time since last summer. Tonight was probably my last night too. They... changed their menu so dramatically that the only options were seafood or sushi. The only non seafood item was a burger with zerofixings and a bag of chips, not even fries. Didn't even have pizza offered. Used to enjoy the outdoor stage and food. GuessI'll be finding somewhere new to go. Read more

My husband and I enjoy the outdoor seating and the music. The pizza is excellent. If your looking for immediate service or a... good drink not so much. I ordered a bourbon mule it was so tart from too much ginger beer and there was little to no bourbon init. I told the manager he said he would personally make me another one then charged me for both!!!!! Basically I go for thepizza, music and being outside. The hostesses are always pleasant. Thats my take on what to expect. Read more

This is a beautiful place to relax and have a few drinks. Service was good and the bar pie was delicious. They have an outdoor... kitchen with a really cool pizza oven, which you see on the way in. They have live music and seating in open air or under shade. They also have a few bean bag toss games available for free play. The prices are maybe slightly above average, but I'm willingto pay an extra buck or 2 for the amazing atmosphere. The patrons on the night I visited seemed to be mostly a middle-agedcrowd, give or take a few years. IMO this place shouldn't call itself a beer garden though. They have some nice beers, but theirbeer list is incredibly short. That won't keep me from returning though. Read more
