Top Quality food, very tasty. First time I had a pepper tuna burger, combines two foods I absolutley love, and it did not... disappoint. Felt like a party in my mouth with all the different flavors and textures going on. The staff was super attentiveand friendly. There is not a bad seat in the house as far as the views of the river go. We sat on the deck on a gorgeus Sunday,and there was a nice breeze going through, but when there was no breeze the ceiling fans made it very comfortable. Honestly, I was a little torn between a 3 star review and a 4 star review. My family, friends, and I have been here several... times. The first time the service was okay and our food was good but they forgot the the Avocado on my taco. But, each time wego the service is better (very friendly) and the food is more consistent. My son complained his coconut shrimp was a littlegreasy one of the times we went. The food, the service, and the atmosphere is why I settled on a 4 star review. The menu isdefinitely improving and expanding each time we go as well. I just wish they would explain the drinks on their menu instead ofbeing a little vague. Haven't found a drink yet, that I'm totally in love with. Some even taste watered down. We will continueto go back because things are definitely better and continuing to be! The Marina Restaurant embodies the relaxed outdoor dining experience of my youth growing up on the Shrewsbury River. Enjoy the... sunset sky, evening breeze and the sound of water lapping as you savor a variety of well-prepared dishes, nothing fussy, everybite delicious. Portions are generous but not oversized, with enticing presentation. Chipotle chicken tacos had just the rightspice, refreshed with crema and shredded cabbage. The crispy chicken salad delivered on all fronts. My daughter?s grilledcheese boasted hearty slices of bacon on thick, gently buttered bread. The French fries were perfection, hot, crispy on theoutside, tender on the inside, not a single one burnt or soggy. And the fresh fruit plate was more of a platter, featuringdelectable strawberries, pineapple, honeydew, watermelon and grapes, enough for three people to share. We will be back soon! Read more
We went for an early dinner. It was ok. The chips (which were outrageously priced for a handful of chips) were stale and came... with a small container each of what tasted like jarred guacamole and salsa. My burger was cooked perfectly at medium rare andwas good - but not $19 for a burger and fries good. The coleslaw and pickle looked like they had been sitting around for awhile. My husband ordered the beef tacos without onions and it came with onions server said he would fix it and bring new tacosthen came back 5-10 minutes later and said the beef was already mixed w the onion- by that point we were ready for the check somy husband didn?t even eat. My kids had a fruit platter (which was good but also expensive for what we got) and split a grilled cheese which was edible but mediocre and again overpriced. The views and atmosphere were nice but you can get that at a lotplaces living here and I don?t mind paying for really good food but we ended up paying $107.00 (w/ tip) for some stale chips, aburger, two cocktails, fruit and a mediocre grilled cheese. We went tonight for dinner with our kids. We think maybe this place just opened up? There was a VERY limited menu and the one... cocktail my husband and I ordered was very bad. We chose this place because they had a kids menu online but there wasn?t anykids menu. The staff seemed a little confused-which is totally fine-they were very attentive so not a critic but just more of areason maybe they just opened? Ambiance was very pretty and food was decent. I?m not sure if I would recommend this place thoughbased on our experience. Does anyone know if they just opened for the season or something? Read more
Great place with a lively atmosphere. They have live music and a bar. When I was there, they even have karaoke session. Ordered... the Clams & Mussels Fra Diavolo which is clam and mussels pasta in a spicy sauce. Taste really good. The place seems to befrequented by locals in and around the area. Read more
The nachos had barely anything on them. We also asked for sour cream on the side. Came with none. We had to ask twice more for... the sour cream and when it arrived they brought about a teaspoon of sour cream. The chips were excessively salty. They mixed upFrench fries and onion rings between me and my husband . Cole slaw dry and barely edible and on and on. Complained to manager.She was apologetic. Said she would take 20% 0ff bill.
