Surf and Turf is great! Also the seasonal Old Fashion is delicious and comes with a roasted marshmallow that was a great treat... to end the meal. Service was friendly and attentive and even though Google said there was an hour wait we didn't wait at all. Irecommend calling to double check on the wait time. Read more
Its got a decent atmosphere. Staff are friendly. But its overpriced for the quality, the steak was good but there was little to... it, the potatoes where a bit dry. Its close to the top gun house mock up and just at the pier which is nice. Read more
This review is based on happy hour. My friend and I stopped in to just grab a drink and we're pleasantly surprised that they had... weekend happy hour! That tends to be a rarity. We got a few tasty cocktails (smoke signals and spicy pineapple) and some oystershooters. The bartender was very nice, I believe her name was Hunter. Read more
First time eating here. Delicious. Service was good and attentive. Drinks came quickly. The food.....yum. Good portions, real... good portions. Started with the charred brussel sprouts. Delicious. I had high expectations for this restaurant...it came recommended from a local wine bar owner we figured knew the local food... scene....plus it is in the same building our resort is at. Well....I was a bit disappointed! For a restaurant located across thestreet from an ocean...the seafood options were somewhat limited....and limited "surf and turf" options! I had the 8oz flatiron,Oscar style...(which was an option) and for the amount of the upcharge...I was expecting more. The flatiron seemed to be a poorcut. Flavor was okay at best and it did not eat like prior flatiron steaks I have had including cuts prepared by myself! Tempwas right....but just not a great steak considering price for an 8oz cut. The rosemary sourdough rolls they delivered to usbefore dinner were amazing, and I did really like the Cesar salad! Perfectly dressed and great flavor! They had many gluten freeoptions and they were clearly marked! Just a note... Wednesdays are "wine night" so they had select half priced bottles. Not a"great" selection but we found a bottle we liked. Our server was very friendly and did a great job. The atmosphere helped! Ithas a great "updated dark steak club" feel! Valentine’s Day 3 courses plus complimentary teaser $69.95. The good: Walk-in status, warm hellos from reception and prompt... seating (we lucked out), fellow guests were friendly and chatted, lobster and beef Wellington cooked to perfection. Theopportunities: Teaser, appetizers, and entrees all served in TWENTY minutes - the service pace needed a speeding ticket. Therewere still open tables, no need to put us on eviction mode… The $18.00 specialty drink was taken off the table withoutasking, while our heads were turned talking with a neighboring diner. Upon the dreaded question asking of “where did the drinkgo”, a circus act soon followed. And prompted this review as we do not need an offense to your defense on Valentines day overyour service faux pas. From entree to dessert, that was a 30 minute wait with an apology, which who cares. Nice location by the fishing pier. Free parking in the basement of Club Wyndham Oceanside Resort. Food is delicious and service... is nice. We sit outside with enclosure protected from wind. Order Salad to share, 8pm flat iron steak and filet trio 3 filetmedallions are nice, plus wine to enjoy it. Expensive but worth it once in a while. Read more
