What an amazing restaurant! The flavors were all excellent and fresh, the staff was friendly and happy to help and the service... was on point! We had an amazing feast! The tikka masala was excellent, the man was great and the Goan shrimp curry was mindblowing! Oh man and the lamb korma was on another level! Do yourself a great favor and be sure to stop in. Finally an amazing Indian Restaurant in Oceanside. Was excited to try this newer restaurant located at 600 Mission. The food... and service were excellent and there were numerous choices. An excellent x selection of vegetarian dishes, seafood, meat. Beverages are delicious. I tried the spicy lemonade and would recommend it. Portion sizes are generous. Family owned andoperated. I?m happy this spot has finally opened and it did not disappoint. I haven?t been to their other locations but having a good... Indian spot nearby is hard to come by. We came on opening night. Friendly staff and delicious food. Atmosphere was clean andbright. We got the veggie pakoras, which came with chutneys for dips. We also ordered the mushroom jalfrezi (side of raita anddaal/lentils) and the murg saag(side of rice and naan). The chicken was cooked perfectly, so tender and juicy. We make a veggiesaag at home and this was amazing. The sauce was creamy. I can?t wait to try more menu items and put this spot in the take-outrotation. Read more
Finding good Indian in North County is challenging. We have always liked their sister shop in San Marcos and were even more... impressed with this restaurant. Beside the normal curries, we decided to try the Mahi appetizers (small fish pieces with lightspicy breading, quick fried). They looked quite dark when served but that was the spice mix. They were excellent, tender &flavorful. Very easily could have been over-cooked and dry, these WERE delicious. Cue'dos to the chef, they have a lot oftalent! Read more
