First time at Fratelli's and wow were we impressed! Busy dinner rush, and the entire staff busted their humps to provide... excellent service and delicious food. Meatballs and antipasto salad - along with the complimentary bread served with pesto -pretty much filled us before our pomodoro and lasagna arrived. This is our go to Italian restaurant. Far better than any spot in San Diego we’ve been to! From the Cesar salad (definitely... add salmon or shrimp!) with the exquisite dressing to the eggplant parm or lasagna, the food is absolutely excellent. Theservice is fantastic. This is a hardcore Italian restaurant. The atmosphere reminded me of a mix of a New York basement with the European flair... California offers. We had a large party and we had some add-ons to our meals. I asked if they could put sausage and bellatomatoes in my chicken alfredo.
