I love the architecture of this renovation. So many plants and a mini forest in the center of building, makes Masters so fun to... eat at. Also, I may add the people watching is also fun. But , I wish I could say these things about the food. Only one steak onmenu(rib eye) meh- Only farm raised fish. They don’t make their own salad dressings. I ordered crab cakes and I’m prettysure they were ordered from a food service company. I sent them back. The were mushy. A side strawberry came with the order)thatI ate. Yummy. Yesterday my husband and I had brunch here for the first time. Upon walking in we were immediately greeted with a friendly... smile. The place was beautiful. Real plants on the walls amazing smells coming from the kitchen. My husband made reservationsand they brought us back to our table. My husband had called earlier to have them set up our table. The whole presentation wasbeautiful. We had the best seat in the house, center of attention for sure. They picked out some of the most beautiful flowers Ihave ever seen and a very nice sturdy base. There was even a personalized card at the table that gave it that special touch. Weeven had our own special plates that were different from the rest of the restaurant. The amount of thought and care they putinto this to have it ready for when we arrived was top tier service. Then we get to our menu which was very nicely displayed. Weordered our drinks and shortly after the food. I HIGHLY recommend getting whatever they have with their smoked salt rim. It isdelicious. And the surf and turf Quesadilla is a MUST have!! Everything we ordered was amazing. The attentiveness of the staffwas on point, you never needed anything but you were not overly bugged even once. It was the best experience I have ever had.Friendly staff amazing food and above and beyond customer care. My husband had an idea and they executed it beautifully. If youwant a great experience (even with out all the frills my husband asked for) I highly recommend this place. The food is reallyreally really good and the drinks are perfect. At the end to top off our amazing dining experience, the manager wrapped up ourflowers and vase for us so we could take them home safely on our motorcycle. This place has great service. I ordered the veggie chilaquiles for brunch. Not my favorite chilaquiles but I did liked the... veggies that they put in the dish. My drink was tasty. I would recommend going for brunch. Read more
Wife and I checked this out for Sunday lunch. Had some concerns as many local places in the area seemed full and lines outside,... but Masters was not. However the setting and environment was perfect. Patio has heating so that even if the ocean breeze getschilly, the heaters are set just perfectly to get you warm without making it hot. TVs near the bar area are huge if your lookingfor that, but not loud or intrusive to the dining experience. Got the Masters Burger (Juicy, flavorful and well balanced withsauces/toppings. Truffle fries were perfectly crispy and light, but lacking in flavor.) Wife got the Carnitas Chilaquiles (Shewas intrigued with the ingredients, but it didn’t pan out as tasty as she was hoping.) Service was good, but not as friendlyas I would have anticipated. Most help introduce themselves and such, but ours just got down to business and checked inperiodically. (I did notice the staff was all guys). They stayed on top of making sure things were done but the warm hospitalitywas missing. Shrimp tacos were amazing. First bite gave me goosebumps. So yummie, perfect size too. Burger was definitely worth it, truffle... fries are crispy and warm. Perfectly cooked. Dip them In their ranch dressing ????I usually don’t get dessert but this time Igot the chocolate tart. So delicious and perfect tasting. Every Wednesday they have happy hour all day. Popped into this place for happy hour and was not disappointed. Our bartender was super friendly and provided great service. The... red pepper hummus was probably the best hummus we’ve had and now need to step up my game making it at home. The cocktails wererefreshing and tasty. Great young vibe. Yummy food and attentive servers. Certainly on the list to come back to and explore more of the menu.
