Absolutely delicious! I love the ambiance of this place too. Eggs Benedict was good, poached eggs were perfect. Fluffiest... pancakes ever! Buttermilk blueberry. I had the gluten free pineapple upside pancakes a few days ago and those were the bestgluten free pancakes I have had. The potato hash was fab also! Read more
We attended the Thursday farmers market in Oceanside and were looking for a good kid friendly well priced place to eat and... Smami's was definitely a great pick. After going to 3 other restaurants with no luck for the kids we came here. The menuselections were better for the kids than many restaurants in the area and the food tasted great. The food got to us fast and wehad great service. They do serve some local brews and kombucha if your looking for a drink. The employees were friendly andanswered our questions regarding local spots to go. You have the option to dine inside on warmer days but it is still open tothat awesome Oceanside air or you can dine on the patio. I definitely recommend Smami's Cafe if you are looking for quick andfresh food. Thanks for some of the best food we had in Cali Swami's we cant wait to come back. Read more
Finally got to check this place out and it did not disappoint! Very spacious and great eats!! The hostess was very friendly and... even offered to split an order (Nutella/coconut encrusted French toast w eggs/bacon) onto two plates for our younger kids. Thatwas so nice! We all enjoyed the meal. I think the outdoor area is dog-friendly too. All around, highly recommend! Read more
Come here every time my best friend is in town. He really likes this place lol I think it?s good, not great. There?s other... little diners around I prefer. But the food is good, and I?ve never had bad service. The only really complaint I have is theirpotatoes. They are super chunky and never fully cooked through to me. Be better if they were a little crispy. If you have agroup, it?s better to get a bottle of the champagne, it comes with two juices of your choosing. Just saves you a little. Read more
We weren't thrilled with our food choices here. The vegetarian Mole Enchiladas were kind of weird. Very sweet, minimum heat,... no flavor in the filling. Very skimpy with the cheese and bland overall. Rice OK, beans had no flavor. Tortillas weren't warmor baked. The Reuben Sandwich was much better, though again I would have enjoyed the Russian Dressing to be less sweet. Frenchfries were really excellent. If we come again it will be for their breakfast, which gets great reviews. It's a huge place,nothing to look at from the outside but very lofty and nice inside. No A/C on a muggy day but many ceiling fans and largelyopen to the outside. We weren't uncomfortable except kind of annoyed by flies buzzing around. Wait staff was efficient. Bathroom was clean. I will like start off saying the staff is polite and they know the menu really well. The food was delicious the prices are not... bad. You have an option to enjoy your food inside or outside and parking is not bad, also when you are done you have thebenefit to shop around because they are located on Coast Hwy so plenty of stores I highly recommend this place. The only thingthat stoped me from giving 5 stars is that you have to pay first so if you want a beer or another drink you have to use yourcard again. Read more
