We were hungry and had not been in Ocoee for a while, so decided to take a suggestion from an employee from a nearby store. The... restaurant is at the corner of the plaza and has 2 sections (by the bar area and larger tables area). It is decorated as a TexMex restaurant and the boothe we sat at was comfortable. The menu is a bit limited, but you get a good mix of Tex Mexflavors. Jalexis our server was attentive, friendly, checked on us often and answered any questions we had. That for sure makesthe meal more enjoyable. Our food tasted good, it was made to order, quality ingredients, good flavor, good portions andentrees included sides and tortillas. The Tinga Poblana missed a bit of Chipotle flavor, but it was good. We ordered theSangria (refreshing, full of fruit, red), Queso Fundido, Sopa de Pollo Bowl (comes with rice in it), Ensalada de Nopal (cactussalad, really good) and the Beff Tinga Poblana. I have known about San Jose for years and for some reason never made it a trip.We will be back and/or try their other locations. Read more

Friday night dinner. We have been to this restaurant before and based on prior experience, returned. Our experience this time... was not as good. I will say, the salsa was very good, but that is where it ends, everything else was just okay. Prices weretoo high for the dishes. Combo Fajita (Chicken/Beef) $18.95 a 1oz side of sour cream was a buck, why? I was expecting asizzling plate with lots of meat, onions and peppers. got about 6oz total. Dish lacked spice, like cumin. Flavors were justoff. I don't like to give mediocre reviews but this was my experience. The only other thing I will say is perhaps they couldoffer low carb flour tortillas as an option for those who need to count carbs. That could be a differentiator. Here are somepics of our meal. I think our waiter was having a bad day…which we all have no fault there. But then the food. The was the icing on the cake.... I’ve had better fajitas from a Taco Cabana. Steak was flavorless and bland. The tortillas must be Mission brand or similar. Mytoddler’s chicken nuggets were the best part of our dinner. Read more

Nice informal mexican restaurant on Colonial. The servings are generous and the prices, amazing. They have lunch specials mostly... at around $8,00! The House Margarita was very good and only $6,00. The food is very fresh. We tried the burrito, a very generousserving with lots of shredded beef and a mixed lunch plate of a smaller burrito and a taco, which was ok. I didn't give it 5stars, just because I've tried other fancy mexican food with a bit more flavor, but they are willing to accomodate. I cannot think of enough good things to say about this place! Delicious! Service was amazing! The manager actually began our... night by serving us amazing drinks and recommend their SJ dips and chips and the beef taquito were super yummy. The burrito wasHUGE!!
