For my birthday celebration with my dad and kids, I made reservations for 4 at 6:30 on a Sunday night. Come to find out when we... checked in, I had forgotten to complete the reservation. Fortunately the host (owner) was extremely flexible and was able tosqueeze us in. He did offer us a table with a 2 in a half hour time limit, (no problem) I was beyond grateful! Server wasprompt, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu items and specials. My kids are very cultured and experienced diners. Weordered the mussels to start! The 14 lamb chop was my choice for dinner and it was cooked to perfection. We will definitely beback! Read more

Great local food and upscale atmosphere on the lake. The wife and I shared calamari, and ravioli and both were cooked... perfectly. The tenderloin was tender and we had the halibut topped with crab. The wine menu is extensive and the entrees aredelicious. Looking forward to going back. Read more
Want to be treated like family? This place is for you. Amazing food, service, and ambience. I’ve been frequenting this... restaurant for a couple years and came from a background of high end food service in my younger years. I’m a harsh critic buthaven’t been able to find much of anything wrong with lago. If you get to know some of the staff it’s obvious as to why thisis the best restaurant in town. Cocos? Who? The core staff has hundreds of years in combined food service and it shows.Ingredients are all top notch and the finished food quality reflects the painstaking time and effort they put into sourcing thetop ingredients. The owners Mike and Joe truly care and you’ll find out because they will often stop by your table side to askhow you’re doing. There are only a handful of restaurants in south eastern Wisconsin of this caliber. I left the Oconomowocarea years ago but still make the hour drive to return frequently. So worth it. Read more
My husband and I went to Lago Su Bella for the first time last night for our 9 year “dating” anniversary. And WOW! Did it... exceed our expectations. The starter bread was great! I had the Caprese salad for an appetizer and my husband had the Minestronesoup - they were both AMAZING! I had the table side pasta for my entree and he had the pesto pasta which again were both SOgood. We also shared a meatball which was just as delicious. We were given a cannoli for our anniversary and then also orderedthe Chocolate Mousse Dome for dessert to take home and they were both outstanding. The cocktails were great as well. My husband and I took my mother out for dinner here while she was in town. I ordered the lamb lollipops, which were amazing. My... husband got the lasagna which was just OK. Same with the short ribs my mom had. Drinks were excellent and the atmosphere wasgreat. Definitely will be back, but likely planning on more of a drinking/social atmosphere and less for food. i am genuinely confused why there are so many good reviews, did i just go on the wrong night? i received a pitiful salad that... just had a lump of cheese on the side, i literally just said yeah no thanks i don’t want that. more than half our table saidtheir food was bad, i tried it and it was truly very bad. then the waitress dumped my drink on my lap and didn’t say sorryjust went “whoops!” and walked away. that is not ok. i left hungry, dissatisfied, and with wet pants.
