Excellent variety of Indian food options. As much or little spice as you'd like.

Over priced. Subpar food. One rather small entree, a very burnt extremely chewy (seemed older than a day or two) piece of garlic... naan that was sent to the trash after one bite, and 2 small veggie samosas was over $30. Sad that this is the only place in theLake Country that has Indian food, but it is worth the drive to go elsewhere to get your money’s worth and fresher food servedto you. Read more

I’ve only ever had take out, but let me say, I crave their food on a weekly basis. I don’t have much knowledge on Indian... food but I have to emphasize my favorite dishes: spinach paneer, butter chicken, veggie samosas (incredible), lemon rice, andtheir garlic naan. I’m not sure this is the “right” way to eat the food, but I usually spoon on some raita yogurt sauce oneach bite. It is incredible. Food is always hot when I get home. The owners are very kind. Sauces tasted good but all the meat was cooked horribly. Chicken was pink beef was over cooked.

As an Englishman who recently moved over here I've been in dire need of a great Indian restaurant. Mantra Indian Bistro was our... first try and I've got to say it was absolutely delicious! They currently weren't doing dine in due to staff shortage which isunfortunate as the interior looked and felt very cozy and had a lovely vibe to it, hopefully we can try dine in sometime in thefuture. Their carry out service was very well optimized and the food was hot and bagged securely. They forgot our mango lassion the pick-up, but quickly fixed the issue with no complaints! Worst Indian food I’ve ever had, and one of the worst carry outs. 15-20 minutes turned into 1.5hrs. Very overpriced ($104) for... what little volume (and quality) I received. For a purchase of 5 entrees, we received 2.5 cartons of rice. An order of naan($5)yielded one naan cut in half. Dessert of gulab juman (pictured with 8 on menu) yielded 3 balls in mysterious white syrup.Entrees at $17.95 amounted to a tablespoon of meat and 10oz spicy red sauce. I was super hungry. Tried their Sweet corn soup and chicken madrasa with tandoor bread. Over all satisfied. Can't say amazed.... Being Indian I tried to do a neutral review. Service was fast and staff was super nice. Will visit again to try other items . Read more
