It's been Many years since I had the opportunity to eat at A&W... The 2 we had in my neighborhood closed down many years... ago... So this was to be a little bit of a memory food meal... Well a lot has changed in that time... Flavor wise... I ordered aDeluxe Cheeseburger... Got a Deluxe hamburger... On a soggy Bun... Fries were seasoned fries of some kind... And a Root beerFloat... The only thing that was true to the A&W I know and Grew up with was the RB float... The other items seem to have fallento the same government health standards which also killed Micky D's fries... So I guess I will just have to remember the goodold days... And pass on A&W in the Future... Well a couple of weeks back... We decided to try something else from yourrestaurant... Chicken Tenders and onion rings... And of course a Root Beer Float.... I Have to say... Some of the best ChickenTenders we've tasted in a long time!!... The rings were tasty also... The food was done perfect. The manager delivered it to our table. He also came to check on us and if everything was good for us.... He also took our trays and garbage. The peach shake was beyond perfect. There were so many peaches in every bite or sip. OMG Ican not wait for another. The onion rings were good but I still miss the batter dipped ones. My husband thought the batterdipped chicken sliders were sooo good. Kudos on the service and dedicated manager. Read more
Always a great place to stop before heading up north! Best chicken tenders ever. If you haven't tried them, I encourage you!!!... And of course the cheese curds. And they should be the twist cone capital! The only place I know that still serves a chocolatetwist and rootbeer twist cone!!! A very kind and helpful manager! Always makes us welcome! Nothing but great things to say about this place! My cousin and I stopped in the get some dinner and, yes the food was great.... But, that wasn't the best part! The manager on duty, it was 7 pm, was amazing. He brought everyone's food out when it was ready,got everyone refills, even moved ad boards in from of the sun to block it from getting into people's eyes. Great team, greatfood, highly recommend. Great A&W. The family makes it a tradition to stop here on our way home. There is a man named Jeff that works here and he... checks on you and makes sure everything is good and likes to chat. Treats you better than most high end restaurant waiters. Read more
