Communication Issues!! They messed up order and could not converse in English with me. It was awkward & embarrassing. I... said to the crowd of workers in the drive thru, , does anyone speak English, I don?t understand why my food is missing. theyall were conversing with each other in Spanish, as if they didn?t know what to do However, ordering at the menu board was ok inthat respect but once at the pickup window, all 6 of them in my view were unable to answer. Ok, so my issues across the board with all these McDonald's is the strawberry banana smoothie. I've had them at mostly Maryland... locations and they all seem to b hit and miss with the flavor. Most of the the time they taste weak and watered down as withthe smoothie at this location. Occasionally 1 will taste good. Overall most of the strawberry smoothies seem to taste muchsweeter or better in Virginia locations than in Maryland locations. Read more
Went to McDonald?s with my daughter and I ordered my usual a double quarter pounder. I noticed halfway through eating something... wasn?t right and when I looked down, my burger was raw and not cooked. I tried calling the facility as it wasn?t close to whereI live to go back and as for a refund but after 3 attempts no one answered the phone. So. Sorry to whoever owns this franchise, but the staff here is probably the worst I've ever encountered in many McDonald's that... I have been in over the years. Which is saying something. The The food is not any particularly better or worse than most of theMcDonald's I've been at, so it's not the backup house staff. But the people at the counter have done things that baffle me. Asfar as customer service goes. I've asked for two courtesy waters and been told at various times that: they don't do courtesywaters, they have never done courtesy waters and they only give out one per person (the last one which could be considered afeasible rule, but since I don't hear it particularly often, I don't know if it is). I've been told other things such as thatthey only give out two ketchup packets per order and even though there were two of us ordering on the same ticket, the rule wasper order, not per person. That one I've never heard of before or since and I actually burst out laughing when it was told tome. In times when I've been sitting near the registers, I've heard the front of house workers, some of whom I'm guessing weremanagement or supervisors, arguing with other patrons, although I cannot attest to what the arguments were about. Just that theywere happening. So the two stars in this rating are entirely for the food being average McDonald's food. The low rating is dueto the atmosphere created by the often disagreeable nature and often low standard of customer service that I have experienced. Read more
I almost always ask for a cup of water with my meal and specify that I don't want a bottled water but at this point I have been... upcharged for a bottled several times. I have never received an actual ice water. I wouldn't mind so much if it was the sameprice but the fact that the bottled water is a full dollar more is irritating Read more
My husband came through the drive-thru to order a McDouble. He brought enough money for what he thought was still around a $2.00... item. He asked what the price was. Then said ? I thought they were $.189. He was then told ? Yes in 1984?. Not only was heembarrassed, but the laughter behind it made it worse! Shame the on you! You have no idea what a person is going through! Orwhat is behind the human being that you embarrassed that has memory loss and other psychological, documented issues. Is this howyou treat disabled people McDonald?s???!???!!!??? This one is pretty decent. Sandwich was made well, a Big Mac. Not too much sauce which can ruin the sandwich if over some. Fries... were crispy but not burnt. Maybe it was a good day, who knows. Only problem was it was a bit slow, but I wasn't in a rush. Read more
