Went through the drive through and the young man who took my order was so patient and helpful and the fellow that cooked the... food brought it to the window and was very polite and courteous too! I haven't encountered such nice wait staff in along time! I forgot to mention the food was great too! I'll definitely be stopping again when I'm in Oelwein! Read more

My family and I were the first to put our order in. After this, 5 or 6 other families showed up, put their orders in, and we... were passed over for an entire 1 1/2 hour while everyone else was served. I hate to say this, but I do not know what otherconclusion I could come to: White families were served while my family and I had to sit and wait, for every one of them to beserved, and finish eating, before we received our order. After the white families were finished, then, it seemed anyway, thestaff had time to make our food and even then, the order was WRONG. I am struggling because of this because I do not know whatelse to think. My 6 year-old grand-daughter kept asking "Papa - why won't they give us food"? My first IC Junction experience was the hand breaded tenderloin, so yummy and not overly salty and processed like what passes... for a tenderloin at lots of places. My friend had the Squealer Nuggets and this picky guy said "These are legit", so that's arave in his book. Go check it out, super cute and cozy dining area and delicious food. Read more
I've been to the new Ice Cream Junction twice and 2 home runs. The first time the tenderloin and fries. Fresh cut and lightly... breaded. Tonight the burger and cheese curds. The burger was fresh meat, not those frozen patties and the cheese curds werefresh and lightly breaded not like those frozen ones in a bag. Everything so far is excellent.
