WOW!!! I am SO glad we worked with The Happy Bakery for our wedding! It was such a wonderful experience from the very beginning.... Most other bakeries we looked into and tried samples from felt very impersonal (pick up your tasting box and let us know if youwant to work with us), so the customer service and entire experience at The Happy Bakery really stood out in the best possibleway. We went in to talk about our vision with Charlie, who then sketched up a design of a possible cake for us. She reallyhelped us identify things we liked and wanted in our cake, and then beautifully translated those to an absolutely stunning cakedesign! Charlie was so sweet and fun and really just a delight to work with from the very start. We later went in for anin-person cake tasting. Every flavor we tried was phenomenal, so it was a difficult decision, but ultimately we went with DeathBy Chocolate and Coconut. YUM!!! All our guests LOVED the cake. We also did some gluten-free cupcakes in the same flavors soeveryone could partake in dessert; these were also phenomenal! We could barely tell the difference between the gluten free andthe regular, which is really saying a lot! Charlie was awesome in explaining to us about the differences between gluten free andregular, and it was so easy to accommodate all our guests' dietary restrictions since this is a plant-based bakery. Our cake washonestly the best cake I've ever had! I am already thinking ahead to holidays and birthdays and looking for excuses to orderanother cake from them because it was THAT good!!! And the final cake was absolutely stunning to look at. I wish I'd spent moretime admiring it, to be honest! In summary, we love love love this bakery (and I'm more than a little sad it's not closer so Ican get goodies from them all the time). THANK YOU Charlie and Happy Bakery team!!! Hubby and I made the drive for Saturday brunch. The Happy Bakery is located in a quaint corner house with street parking. There... are several rooms inside the house with cozy tables throughout. We ordered a Breakfast Grilled Cheese, a Diner Brunch, a latte,and cold brew. Disappointed in myself for not snagging a picture of the BGC ??. The food was yummyyy and made the long driveworth it. On our way out, we picked up some bakery items (cupcakes, cookies) and have been enjoying those all weekend. Read more
Wow! The OG mushroom burger was melt your mouth amazing and the crème sammich was a delightful take on a childhood... favorite. Very friendly staff, reasonable wait time, great quality and greater flavor. If you’re visiting the area it’s amust see, as a new local this is my new happy spot. UPDATE! 05-06-2022 We had such a good time here a week ago that we decidedto come back and again no disappointments! I’ve gotten birthday cakes and cupcakes there before and have always been happy with my experience! Today I went to pick up a... Welcome Home cake for my husband who’s been working overseas for four months but I didn’t make it in time (that was on me-it was ready 2-3 days ago) so it had been sold. That was no big deal, again, that was my fault for waiting too long! I was onlystill buying the cake because I didn’t want their hard work to go to waste, but my husband is stuck where he’s at andcan’t come home yet so that cake would have gone to waste anyway. So we got these cute little rainbow buns for my toddler andI and they gave us a cookie on the house! ?? it wasn’t until I got outside that I saw the little babies which gave me a goodlaugh. Came in to get some cake to make vegan cakepops. They were super helpful in helping me to find the items I need to make sure... they are vegan...since I'm not! I've followed this restaurant on social media for a long time and always wanted to try it, but for whatever had never gone in... until today. After months of seeing their posts online, I had very high expectations of the food and staff. Needless to say, Iwas not let down at all. The staff were all incredibly friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was absolutelyfantastic, I wish I had gotten some baked goods as well. Oh wow! Everything we had was fantastic. Falafel pita, mushroom melt, soup of the week 'carrot soup ' (changes weekly), Boba... fizzy soda and apple cider. Five star all the way. The cupcakes are beautiful ???? Read more
