The service is horrible as in im still here now. I asked for a booth and none were clean, their wasn?t even a option to have one... cleaned and to wait for it! The server didn?t take our dirty plates away and to top it off, we received our bread rolls afterour salads were finished! Like really? and my lasagna cold. Never again will I come to this place! Had late night dinner (8 pm, they close at 9) on Friday at the Pasta House in O'Fallon. Ordered the chicken Flamingo ($22) it... came with 1 small breast, a side of pasta and a salad. Salad was great, rolls were hard and only 1 breast! I know it was lateand businesses are struggling to get help but our server was complacent and did not bus as the dinner progressed. Poor service,over priced and quality was just so so. Sad because, their food is usually so good. Read more
Be aware if you order a large salad at lunch time for carryout, you will get a regular size salad. $10 for a regular size salad... in a large container. This has happened 4 times in the past few months. Thought this was an Italian restaurant. Read more
We?ve avoided Pasta House for a couple years because of some bad experiences, but we tried to give it another chance but sadly,... it?ll be a long time before we come back again (if ever). Table was sticky and everything around us was dusty. Service wasvery slow and on the inattentive side . The food was disappointing. The salad had brown edges and was limp. The white sauce wasmilky in consistency and couldn?t even cling to the noodle. The red sauce was okay, but overall less than half of our dishescame out hot. The others were lukewarm at best. I?ve been finished and waiting for my check for the last 15 minutes, but I?mnot really sure where my server is so I?ve had ample time to write this review. Read more
I haven't been in a while. They had this pasta with shrimp skewers that was excellent. Rolls were fresh and the salad had lots... of artichoke hearts which my gf quite enjoyed. The waitress Layne I believe was sweet and checked on us often. Even the otherwaitresses checked on us from time to time. My only minor issue would be the room inside the booths. Very small amount of roomand the iron bars underneath aren't comfortable. Do yourself a favor and sit at a table. You will be much more comfortable.Great experience overall. One of the best times I've ever had eating at a pasta house. Gonna head back sooner than later! Read more
Not sure what happened but my meal didn't taste anything like the Pasta House I've enjoyed for decades. Pasta con broccoli had... no flavor and was barely warm. Server forgot to add the topping to our pizza so my pasta sat in the kitchen while they correctedthe pizza. Pizza was blah. I've eaten at this location for years and never had a meal so terrible. This location has really gonedownhill. Quality is comparable to Fazolies. Ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Read more
Food was good. Service was lacking. Our waitress took our order, dropped off the food and then disappeared. We had to flag down... someone else to ask for parmesan cheese and again when we were finished to get our bill and some to-go boxes. We didn't see heragain until we paid. Wish I could leave zero stars! First, they sat us at a table that was dirty and sticky. So we asked to move tables which they... seemed pretty put off by that. Then, the waitress didn't explain the menu options very well (actually at all). So after weordered, we thought we were getting something that we were not. After I questioned her, she just sent the manager over. Heapparently could care less and just said she didn't know...no apology. After that our waitress never came back to our table. When our food came, a different waitress brought it out. However, she brought out the wrong entrees. Then said they wouldhave to remake it because the kitchen got it wrong. Manager brings out the right food and didn't even say a word, just put itdown and walked away...again, no apology. The food was mediocre at best...not the same quality or flavor we've enjoyed foryears... definitely not worth what your paying for. Since we had zero service, I had to go to the kitchen to get a box thenfind someone else to get our check. Meanwhile, our waitress is sitting in a booth with other wait staff just socializing. Itwas just terrible...again! We keep going back hoping it will be better but I guess this is the norm. We definitely do notrecommend...go to Olive Garden. Read more
