A friend suggested this place to try and WOW so glad we went. Service was great and the food was AMAZING! We both had the pulled... pork sandwiches with onion rings, drinks and potato skins. Every time I make it home to Iowa I have to try a tenderloin sandwich somewhere new. This trip it was the tenderloin sliders at... Lucky Pig and they did not disappoint. Great flavor and still more meat than bun even with sliders. 100% will stop here again.The onion rings had a ton of flavor too! Read more
Enjoyed dinner for two on a late, 7:30pm Thursday evening. Had avocado and pita bread appetizer then main course was chicken... breast over a salad with raspberry vinegarette dressing and steak, garlic mashed potatoes with steamed vegetables. All threedishes were delightful. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. I would highly recommend the food andexperience. Read more
Very inviting place and small town Iowa hospitality. Food is always excellent! Our waitress did a good job. My favorite is the... Cuban sandwich. The best Cuban sandwich in Iowa in my opinion. The BLT also comes with a lot of bacon. They don't skimp on themeat here. If you are in Ogden or passing through, stop in and give the Lucky Pig Pub and Grill a try. Read more
When the perfect combination comes together, you can't help yourself. Pair fresh ingredients locally sourced, with great... recipes, add in attention to the food, and give a generous helping of it, and great friendly service; and this is where you willfind it. The lunch special was amazing, centered on pork. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and paired with seasoned sweetpotato fries. My plate was a hard choice between the Pulled Porky Pig, and the Bay of Pigs (thinly sliced, ham pulled pork). ThePulled Porky Pig won out. The bun was the base to hold all of the meaty goodness. The pork was the star of the show in bothcases; the condiments were on point; and the sauce was a perfect Memphis sweet BBQ sauce. If you want an experience, here it is. Read more
From the minute we walked in we were greeted warmly and provided excellent service. There was a slight delay with our food due... to a kitchen issue, but it was quickly resolved and we were kept updated. The tenderloin was absolutely fantastic and the friesand onion rings were drool worthy. The prices were very reasonable and the menu was extensive! I am already looking forward tomy next visit!
