So much fun! We were a group of 5 and had so much fun! The difference in skills from the start of the hour compared to the end... was crazy - So much improvement! Due to circumstances beyond their control, the service SUCKED! But to be honest I only saw 3 employees. The food was still... great and fresh. The wait in line was excessive. But it is not their fault that this area is lacking people willing to work inthe service industry. I hope to be able to go back soon and turn from 3 to 5 stars. Read more
We love Costa Vida and we come a lot but just now our visit was not good. Three gentleman working at the counter. First... gentleman was wonderful. Got the tortilla and grilled chicken for a grilled chicken SALAD and filled it perfectly. Handed it tothe second gentleman with glasses and he started. He gave me a small proportion of lettuce. Not exaggerating, like half a cup.FOR A SALAD !!!! we continued to ask him if we could get some more lettuce. He mumbled and put a little bit more on. Still notenough for a salad. We go to the checkout to pay and see that they charged us a dollar for the lettuce. We asked him why and hegave no response and shrugged. In line to order and was very excited to have one of my favorite foods when I noticed scampering on the food counter and... realized 4 roaches were making their way across the counter. I was completely repulsed so I left. Roaches in that amount canonly ever mean 1 thing. Tons more lie in wait somewhere. Have better standards. Read more
Been going to this location for quite some time and have very rarely had a negative experience. The food is always great and... the customer service is good but I'm pretty frustrated with the stake option on a small salad. I had accumulated some pointsand decided to splurge to upgrade on steak. At $2.50, I got maybe four and a half pieces of steak. It's not a good feeling tosee the employee putting pieces back or grabbing the smallest scraps. Again pretty frustrating experience today. So the basics, food was good (had the grilled steak burrito with red enchilada sauce which was on point), service was quick and... the staff was friendly enough. The atmosphere here is very interesting as it boarders the indoor surfing facility. Read more
We?ve had terrible experiences ordering take out from here. I ordered nachos. Paid $10. Picked up my order right on time and... when I got home 3 minutes later, all the chips on the bottom were completely soggy and inedible. The pico they gave was like twosmall teaspoon-fulls for the whole meal, and an even smaller amount of guac. Just terrible. And since I?m home I can?t take itback and order something else. Really wish I could get my money back. In the past when we?ve ordered food to go, they eithermess up our order, or totally skimp on the ingredients.
