Tasty joint that puts a seemingly more authentic and homely spin on the same classic menu you'll find at places like "La... Fountain/Frontera". The service can take a little while but the food is always fantastic and their to-go and delivery optionshave never failed to impress, they do a great job at getting it hot out the door and the food looks and tastes just like it doesin the restaurant on days I don't have the time to dine in. My go-to here is the Medium Combo, which maths out to about thesame serving size as "small combo smothered with cheese" elsewhere, though Maria's provides what seems to be a higher qualitymeal and a better presentation overall compared to the competition. Honestly we used Google to search for a Mexican restaurant and found Maria's AND SO GLAD WE DID! Beautiful restaurant, GREAT... service and amazing food. $$$ I ordered the large combination which was plentiful with a large dos Equis which came in a frostedmug. I thought the beer prices were a little on the steep side but still I enjoyed it very much and my wife ordered Maria'ssalad with chicken. YES we both agreed we will come back. I give Maria's Mexican Restaurant a 4.8 star. The food was really good and service was friendly. We'll definitely will be going... back. Best Enchiladas I've had in a long time. They didn't check on us after receiving our food and it took a bit to get ourcheck. My husband and I were with over 20 people so we understand why it took a little time. The waitress did keep wellorganized with the checks. I do think they could have had two waitresses at our big table. Maria's is a consistently tasty restaurant for Mexican food. They have a wide variety and everything has been delicious. Service... is always been outstanding and the chips and salsa are some of the better ones in the area. If you get a chance to try theirqueso, it is unique and quite good. They do serve alcoholic beverages and more importantly, Coca-Cola products. Read more
We went for our 6 year anniversary it was nice, wish we could have gotten the table we had last year but that wasn’t possible... over all service was fantastic food was very nicely prepared I had street tacos - significant other had chicken quesadilla theysaid it was delicious. This was our 4th time eating here on special occasions on my birthday they sang happy birthday and I gotto wear the sombrero and got a treat so all in all I rate this place a 5??????treat in picture so good. This is the best Mexican food I've eaten in Ogden. The refried beans are so delicious. This reminds me of some of the... restaurants in old San Diego. Solid flavors, delicious, large amounts of food for what you are paying. This is my newfavorite local Mexican. I will be back Read more
