Entering this restaurant & gift shop is liking stepping back in time, from the decor to the menu. The pink bathrooms remind me... of my Grandma's bathroom when I was little. We had the best waitress (Tanna) who gave us such good recommendations! I wasskeptical to try the famous Mormon Muffins because they are bran muffins with walnuts (and I don't like either). They really areas good as everyone says. They are so different from any other muffin you have had. Dip them in the honey butter & they make fora great treat! I think they would be a great breakfast. We took Tanna's recommendation for our meals. The Marco polo (Englishmuffins, sliced ham & turkey covered in broccoli & hollandaise sauce) it was so different than anything I've ever had at arestaurant. I highly recommend it. My husband got the Chili Verde Enchiladas and loved it. For dessert we tried the CarmelApple pie that my husband said is now his very favorite pie! I really liked the gift shop. There are a lot of local foods &Utah's Own products. Read more

We came here with our birthday coupons, and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately that's about the extent... of the good news. When the food came out, we were excited to see the "seasonal fruit." It was 1 browned apple slice and a small, singular, overripe strawberry. One of my family member's strawberry had strange brownish-blackish spots. The burgers came out, 3in total. 2 of them had rotten lettuce. We asked for more lettuce, and when they brought it to us... it was also rotten. We'vebeen going here for years and it's a shame to see such a staple of our community decline so harshly in quality. Super cute place! I had the Chile verde (cheese) enchiladas for about $14. Very cheesy, Chile verde was flavorful but coulda... been more meaty, I also tried their Mormon Muffins - delicious but not really worth the price ($3 something for one). I hearthey used to be bigger. The honey butter was also delicious. We were seated in the lanai area, it had a weird smell - not quitemusty, but maybe a bit dank. Other than that the staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11 when they opened andwere seated promptly but the place got rather busy so plan accordingly. Read more

Got to get you some Mormon Muffins! The butter was more like icing, but no complaints here. Turkey pesto sandwich was nice and... the daily special shrimp Alfredo was good. Atmosphere is definitely unique and I love it is located at the mouth of the canyon.I would for sure drop by another time for some muffins. Read more

Mormon Muffins! Shouldn't have to say more than that! We had a party of 8 at lunch on Mother's Day and were sat in a decent... amount of time. Staff was friendly and quick. Whenever we're in the neighborhood we dont miss a chance to stop in. There'splenty of things to look at while you wait. Overall great place to eat! Read more

My friends bought these Mormon muffins for my home when they came for dinner. Initially, I scoffed at the name and thought it... had a funny name. But man, I tried it, and it is super impressive. The texture, the bite, the content, everything is topclass. I seldom eat sugary stuff like cakes or cookies, but this one didn?t have a lot of sugar. It was perfectly baked, and Ihave it every day for breakfast with my americano coffee. I may have to buy more soon or invite my friends over for dinneragain ;) Read more

It has been a few years since we'd been to The Greenery but it was good! The atmosphere is really laid back and it draws a fun... brunch crowd. I ordered the pretzel bun jalapeno burger that was really good. My wife got the bacon cheddar baked potato thatshe also really liked. The reason I couldn't do 5 stars is because we felt rushed, the waitress came to our table 4 times, onefor the order, one to give us the food, one to offer boxes, and one to give the check. And that was all within like 30 minutes. It sucks because the burger was spicy and I didn't get a refill until I asked on our way out. Read more

We found this place on a Google search while driving through, and I'm so glad that we did! The location, right at the mouth of... the Ogden Canyon, was so beautiful. The atmosphere was perfect with actual, live greenery everywhere. The halls leading into therestaurant felt like visiting a museum with historical photographs of the area and art pieces. When I first read about MormonMuffins, I'll admit that I scoffed a bit. But, there was an online coupon so we decided to try them. YUM. The texture and flavorwere dreamy and they were HUGE. I almost bought a batch to take home. I'll admit that I wasn't blown away by the selection atthe salad bar, so we didn't order anything from it, but everything we did order was delicious and the portions were generous. Mydaughters enjoyed their kid's meals and were very full. My husband loved his Cobb Salad and my Broccoli Stuffed Spud wasenormous and so tasty. They must use Idaho potatoes. The next time we're driving through Ogden, we plan on stopping by again. Read more
