1st time at the Timbermine. No reservation, but was there about 5:30 on a Friday night. We had a ten minute wait. Although on... the way out. We saw the crowd had grown significantly. Go early. The restaurant is decked out in an old western mine theme. Thebooths had their own individual lighting adjustments so you can make the atmosphere very romantic or if you had grandma andgrandpa with you, you could turn up so they can see what they are eating. The food was excellent. If I had to have a complaintit would be that the house salad was just basic greens. We ordered the prime rib and the gold pan shrimp scampi. Both weretasty. I ordered my prime rib, medium rare and it was done to perfection. It was tender and well seasoned with au jus andcreamed horseradish on the side. This was probably the best prime rib I've had dining out in Utah. I do a lot of my ownbarbecue, and get pretty picky about what I eat out. I would definitely recommend this. My wife's shrimp were done toperfection. Large and tasty. We also found that the price was not unreasonable. If you're looking for an evening out with somegood food, and a little atmosphere, I can recommend the Timbermine. Enjoy! Read more
Thus is a different experience for us as far as going out goes. The food was great and Jone....our waitres was great. She was... checking in on us every 5 minutes. The food was also great. Fantastic atmosphere, service and the food!! My steak was done exactly the way I ordered, tasted great and my potatoe was done... perfectly as well. So delicious and flavorful! We had a very large group and we all loved our food! From the appetizers to the sides to the main... courses, it was all cooked and prepared to perfection. It?s a little pricey but definitely worth it. The waitress was verypatient with us and super friendly. Read more
Relaxed calming atmosphere. Great service. The decor is a whole experience in itself. I had the larger ribeye, mouthwatering... goodness. My wife had the salmon and we both were very satisfied. Salad was fresh. Dinner bread was tasty. I will have to returnto work through the menu. Read more
A great place for a once in a while get away from life and sit down and dine. It?s out on the pricey side but well worth it. Fun... environment and great customer service. Wonderful things to look at as there are collectibles of all kinds on the walls and onshelves. The bathrooms are interesting, the lighting is adjustable in your individual stall.
