Pizza was very good. I didn't like any of the beers particularly. The wife's BLT salad had two measly pieces of pork belly on... top. Might have been an ounce at best. Read more

WOW! SO GLAD WE STOPPED IN HERE! If you like craft beer, unique pizzas, and friendly people, then you must stop by and try this... brew pub. The outside of the restaurant is rather unassuming. But, once you walk in, you notice the beams, touches of modernwood work, and the friendly bar keeps and immediately feel welcomed. We initially went in to try a flight of beer and kill sometime. We ordered the English Style Bitter Ale, Trestle IPA, Watermelon Sour, and Blueberry Delight Milkshake IPA. We bothreally enjoyed the Trestle and the Blueberry IPA tremendously. The sour was good but keep in mind sour beers are an acquiredtaste. For a sour, it was tastefully crafted. The English Bitter IPA didn't knock our socks off or anything but it wasn'tundrinkable either. As we reviewed the eclectic pizzas on their menu, we figured that we only live once so why not trysomething unusual. We were pleased that you can order a whole pizza and do half one way and half another. We tried the "SmokedPulled Pork, Gouda, Mac & Cheese, Jalapeno Cornbread" on one side and the "Maine Blueberries, Ricotta, Roasted Shallot, LemonZest" on the other half. Both pizza halves far exceeded what we expected! The pulled pork...pizza was packed with numerouscomplementary flavors and textures. The Blueberry pizza was rich and creamy with a smooth savory base from the shallotshighlighted with subtle but bright pops of lemon zest to reduce the heaviness. The crust was airy and crispy on the edgeswithout being too chewy. Being brave and trying these pizzas was fantastically rewarding! It may sound cliche, but we likedthe blueberry pizza paired with the Blueberry Delight IPA. The pulled pork Gouda pizza paired decently with the Trestle IPA aswell. Read more

This was a great find for us. We are staying in Wells and struggling to find restaurants that are doing take out. Due to family... health concerns, we are not comfortable with dining inside now. Brickyard is apparently doing take out by design and it?s muchappreciated by us. They even took time to label all the containers; that is attention to detail! The food was all around great. The pizzas are not run of the mill brew pub fare. The thin crust was delicious, pizzeria quality. Wings were nice and meaty. Thedipping sauce for the four cheese breadsticks looked like regular old tomato paste, really thick. But wow it was so good onthem. Very different but very flavorful. We wish them continued success because we hope to make this a regular place eachsummer. Read more
