They had a special of 2 one pound lobsters and corn on the cob for $22. We got it along with an order of onion rings. The... lobsters were brought right off the fishing boat to put it into the steamer which was very impressive. The corn was very goodand was very fresh as we actually saw the person shuck the corn in order to boil it. The onion rings were made on the spot bycutting up onions and breading them and frying them. All in all the meal was fresh and very delicious and we were impressed. Wefound a picnic table on the waterfront close by and were able to eat there. we would definitely come back again if we were inthe area. Read more

First time! People had been telling me to try it for a long time and finally we did. The lobster rolls are the best! We got them... combo with butter and mayo. Best idea ever! The onion rings were also awesome. Can't wait to go back. Read more

Stopped here for a quick to-go dinner on a rainy evening. We ordered two lobster rolls, one warmed with butter, one chilled with... mayo, both with lemon on the side, and a bowl of clam chowder. The amount of lobster per roll was very generous and had a great, fresh, sweet flavor. The chowder was delicious also, I just wish there was more of it in the to-go cup. Definitely recommendstopping by Footbridge Lobster! Read more

in a fit of laziness, the boy and i recently headed over to perkins cove for a fish fix. Footbridge Lobster being the only... outdoor/takeout option without a line (big clue and i missed it), we gave it a try. lovely location way down at the end of thecove beyond the municipal parking lot, and an utter nightmare of vehicular and pedestrian traffic to navigate even in thispre-season. pretty as it is, location doesn?t save it. the food was bravely average, the portions huge, and all of it wasoutrageously overpriced. the haddock plate ($28) was tasteless and served with ken?s steakhouse equally tasteless tartarsauce. the boy?s lobster grilled cheese ($38) was heavily over-cheesed and under-lobstered, and served proudly with a 1 oz bagof lays potato chips. (nothing against lays, love ?em, but.) the chowder was tasty, although the clams were chased through ittoo fast to leave any trace of their passing. bullie slurped down the chowder dregs and enjoyed her treat of chicken fingers, although this particular take on them did go through her like rocket fuel. we live, we learn?kelly?s, or the catch, this placeis not. if i?m dropping $100+ on lunch for 2 i expect? more??? leaving this one to the tourists. Excellent Connecticut-style lobster rolls in a cute seaside town. Asked for the meat to be warmed with butter, but they also... have the option for cold mayo version. Fast service, easy carry-out, some benches and public seating nearby. Also have Downeastcanned ciders available! Read more

Footbridge lobster is a must stop if you are in Maine? not only is the owner cooking the fresh seafood, he is also catching it... daily! We loved our lobster steamer for 2! The prices were so low we ordered 2! We drove back to Kennebunkport and found a nicebench over looking the ocean for a great sunset dinner! Can?t wait to go back. Read more
