The food was amazing, we ordered calamari, chowder, arugula salad, steaks, lobster and the duck. The ?deviled eggs? were good... yes, but they aren?t traditional. It?s a thin slice of egg white on top of a cracker, with a little yolk dollop, and caviar.Whilst the description included caviar, the rest weren?t in the description. I?d suggest naming the dish something else or moreof a description! Will def be back though! Read more
Amazing Dinner! Great ambiance and view of the ocean. Our server Irina was wonderful and all the support staff hit all the steps... of service with class. One feedback I have is for them to get a menu cover for their paper menu. Too high quality of a place tohave paper menus. Highly recommended for an anniversary dinner! Special occasion destination. Unparalleled view of the rocky coast on the ocean side of Perkins Cove. When we were young and... supple, we used to scramble out to the largest bolder at low tide to find starfish and periwinkles. Now we are content to takein the sights from a comfortable table with excellent cuisine. Treat yourself! Read more
Absolute perfection. Amazing food, beautiful view, friendly staff. My husband and I were blown away with how delicious the food... was, best meal I ever had. We ate outside. The view was spectacular. The space inside is well-laid out and thoughtful. However, I think you're missing out... if you don't eat outside. Gorgeous porch overlooking the water. Great view of the sunset, etc. The burger was one of the bestburgers I've ever had. The onion rings that came with it, though, we're an afterthought. My wife's lobster was expertlyprepared, and came with killer steak fries that I could not stop eating. Beer list was solid. Snagged a Substance from BissellBrothers. Dessert was good. The view was great. The staff were wonderful. The food was delicious. The quaint area it is located in has so much charm it is... truly a gem. Service was quick, professional, and friendly. Families are welcome. Saw two parents and two kids there whendining. Great spot for any occasion, brunch with friends, dinner date, family outting, anniversary, etc. Prices are moderate.But the view and quality of your food and experience will have you leaving feeling like it was worth it. Had an amazing anniversary dinner at this location. The Bacon wrapped grilled beef tenderloin was delicious paired with the... Cheddar Mash Potatoes. There cornbread I need more of. Definitely a place worth driving to. Thank you for a great experience. Read more
OK, let's get the two 800lb gorillas out of the way. First, no, there is no parking and you are at the mercy of the tiny... municipal lot down the street. Secondly, yes, the views are spectacular and there is no bad seat in the house. Unfortunately,post-labor day things reverse themselves. The parking gets much better but it gets dark at 5pm so the views get worse. Cest lavie. I'm guessing early dinner between labor day and Fall Back is the ticket. Anyhow, any negatives from the above are fastoutweighed by the superb food and excellent service. I have to admit having been somewhat skeptical when I viewed the onlinemenu--it seemed pretty uninspired and boring. Fortunately, the menu available when we arrived bore no resemblance to that. It'sone of those menus where everything looks so good you can't make up your mind. So we tried a bunch of things-- the oysters, theclams, the fried artichokes, the crab cakes and we split the swordfish. Everything was superb. Fresh, prepared beautifully, goodportions. The house infused cosmopolitans were excellent. Great bar. And, this is one of the places you actually want to see thedessert menu---we had the special pear and ice cream. Completely awesome. I rarely give the service an A+ but our serverdeserved it. We never waited nor wanted for anything. Gotta go back and try the other menu items. Read more
