I love the different menu! Not your regular offerings! The chef created a limited menu but everything we ate was excellent! ... The atmosphere was relaxed and the service impeccable! The restaurant and restrooms clean. We each had a drink, an appetizerand a main and shared dessert and cost was a reasonable $150 with tip. Read more

Cannot get enough of this place! Yes, the portions are not what you get at, say, Outback Steakhouse. That’s because you are... not going to a chain steakhouse. The food is delicious, the drinks are out of this world, the bartender will make you whateveryou want and suggest something you’ve never had before if you like. We had the same server as we did last year (Rob) andhe’s incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, there-when-you-need-him-and-not-when-you-don’t, and has a dry, sly sense of humor.Can’t wait to go back! There’s no better place on the east coast than Northern Union. Tim, Colleen, owners Lauren & Matt plus the entire staff make... your meal an experience. The drinks & food are made to perfection every time. Our first night in OGT is always at NorthernUnion. New age Restaurant. Trendy atmosphere with very attentive staff, good wine selection ( moderately priced) . Had dinner at the... bar. Bartender was amazing, knowledgeable and shared many excellent choices for exploring. The food was very chemistry oriented,complexity in flavors to amuse the palate. Portions are very European so schedule multiple courses if famished. I am old schoolwhen it comes to Foie Gras. The émulsion présentation was not what I was expecting this was the only disappointment for me.The oven roasted carrots with parsnip puree, Omg delightful. The lamb loin was excellent cooked as requested. The mintchimichury to my surprise completed the loin quite well. Yes I will revisit. Read more
A pleasant place, a wonderful waitress, and the smallest, least satisfying meal portion of any restaurant I've been to in my 65... years. The chef clearly doesn't consider why people go to dinner - because they're HUNGRY. (It's not just about him impressingus with his skills, or the presentation, sometimes we're actually HUNGRY). It was insulting and even comical how tiny the salmonwas (with a few, yes a few, spears of asparagus) , or my girlfriend's dish of 5 Tortellini. No bread, no salad, nothing, just ashot glass for water on our table. We had to stop on our way back to our hotel to find something to snack on or I'd have goneto bed starving. I'm sure many others enjoyed their meal, the chef likely is a fine one, but I'll never go back there again. Shame on them for serving something so paltry. (and $15 for an equally paltry glass of house wine was ridiculous too). Suggestion to anyone considering this place - go with a full belly. Read more
If I could give more stars I would!!! Northern Union exceeded my expectations. I originally had only dinner planned, but some... other plans fell through and I asked if they could provide a private wine tasting. Tim helped me set up the tasting and it wasincredible. We had charcuterie boards during the tasting as some appetizers. Afterwards we had more appetizers that were alsoincredible. Rob guided our tasting. He was so kind, wonderful and funny!! He was able to handle 8 loud women! Dinner wasincredible, followed by dessert. They let us stay passed closing and said to take our time heading out. We didn’t feel rushedat all. Thank you again! The food and drinks were excellent. Everything we ate was unique, well -portioned and delicious. The service was good and... they added a nice touch by handing us two glasses of bubbly as we were seated to wish us a happy anniversary. I would highlyrecommend this restaurant. Read more
