The prototype of a tourist trap We were expecting to pay a bit too much considering prime location in perkin’s cove. However,... we were not expecting such low food quality. Service was mediocre at best. Most of the restaurant is actually pretty cozy andwell decorated, but we were in a section with very poor lighting in between kitchen doors and front entry were people would goto smoke… A hard pass for next year Read more

We have been loyal customers of Roberto‘s for over 30 years. In all that time this is the worst experience we have ever had... and do not intend to return. Attempted to speak with owner/manager to express our dissatisfaction. Staff was not well trained.Waited 20 minutes for server to come take our drink order. Wanted to take entire order at once. Seemed to be rushing around Dashnot her fault. They tried very hard but our entire room of customers was disgusted. One table had to get their own water, breadplates for their appetizer and grated cheese. Another table did not get their drinks with her dinner. When our drinks came onewas not prepared as ordered. Server brought drinks and bottle of wine at the same time. Our appetizers were 20 minutes apart andarriving and there were only two of us. The food was delicious however when I asked to speak with the manager and she came outof the bar area, never even checking in our seating area to make sure everything was going as planned, I tried to explain to herthat it was our anniversary dinner, we have been coming there as long as they’ve been open, she rolled her eyes at me sheraised her voice and attacked me saying that I expected too much, they were short staffed so closing the next day because of it,I should eat somewhere else and never come back again. On our way out of the door she said “where is my broom I should get onit I was such a witch! “She followed my husband and I out the door I asked him to explain and then she started attacking himtold us never to come back again she didn’t care what we wrote online or anywhere else. When we got back to our room wediscovered that Roberto‘s is for sale so that may explain some of her attitude but it was totally unacceptable after spending$155 for a dinner that took two hours at the least you could’ve done was comp some drinks a dessert or something other thanyell at us and follow us out the door. Others waiting for tables or within earshot of her were in total shoc Read more

Excellent - thin crust a very flavorful treat! Their wonderful red sauce along with creamy, rich cheeses made toppings stand... out. The sausage & peppers we tried were fabulous! The only criticism offered”this nite was wishing the pizza had been a bitmore crisp. Other than that - this was best pizza we’ve found! Read more

We've been going to Roberto's for twenty years and because of the pandemic had not had a chance to go in three years. The change... was significant in this time, from the days of upscale, attentive service in which you were made to feel special to very basicservice (during which at one point we noticed people waiting at the entrance while the employees chatted in the other room for acouple of minutes - a small thing but a big change for this particular restaurant) The food use to wow us, the flavors being onpoint, the ingredients of quality. This time my house salad's vinaigrette was changed to a boring balsamic, the croutons werehumid and crunchless. The marinara sauce was particularly boring, like the kind that you can pick up off a grocery store shelf. But hey at least they still have that tasty dip at the start of the meal - though some fresh garlic bread would pair with thatso much better than just thin slices of baguette. I don't know what happened to you in the last three years Roberto's but Ihope you do some soul searching and find yourself again. Read more

My husband and I have eaten here several times over the past 15 years and have had a great experience each time. We ate at... Roberto’s last summer with my grandson and it was also great. The visit today was terrible; We had an early reservation at5:30 with our grandson who is 7 yrs old. We were seated right away and when I asked about the early specials they were supposedto have until 6 pm we were told that they weren’t offering it even though the recording on their line stated it wasavailable. We ordered meals and then the wait began. After an hour we asked our server when our meals were going to arrive andgot the line that they were training chefs but would be out soon. We were close to leaving after waiting 1:15 for food but foodfinally arrived. Food was just okay. overpriced for what you get. My grandson’s chicken tenders did not come with anything(5 fingers for $11.99). Our server was polite but overworked I realize that every place is facing labor issues, but don’tseat as many people if you can’t handle it. Unfortunately we will not be going back again Read more

One of the best meals I have ever had in my life! I had the lobster ravioli and it was absolutely amazing! I only wish I lived... here so I could eat here more often. The lemon drop martini is amazing as well. The owner Kathy stopped by our table andvisited, she is great! Loved getting to meet her and being able to visit with her as well. The whole experience was amazing. Therestaurant is so beautiful. I highly recommend Roberto’s, it will not disappoint. I dined with several friends and their foodwas outstanding as well. Whatever you get, you can not go wrong! Read more

Good Italian food. Their Ceasar salad with the crusted parmesan on top is delicious!
