Trailside outdoor area for eating and refreshments, as well as indoor dining. Food was good and atmosphere was enjoyable and... fun. A great stop if on the GAP trail as it's convenient both ways. Food was very good. I had the steak salad and my wife got the chicken sandwich and we split the balsamic brussel sprouts. The... food took a little bit while longer than expected to come out which put us behind on some of the plan we had that we hadreservations for so we ended up having to get our food to go. The only other problem we had was the signage is very poor. Wedidn't know where we had to order at so we had to walk upstairs and downstairs a few times just to order at the bar and then goback upstairs to get our food and eat. Read more
The cafe burger (I got it no bacon) was outstanding. My sister thought the Ruben was among the best she?d ever had. The fries... were hot & fresh. Our (basement) bartender knew his beer & his menu. The basement was quiet & a perfect chill spot. The outsidebar was a little loud, but fun on karaoke night. You have to go up & get your food from the window upstairs, but I didn?t mind.It was easy to sort out a tiny error (like sweet potato fries instead of reg) that way. I wished they had more beer taps andglass beer glasses, but those are tiny details. Just about everything else made us LOVE this place. This place is great. Sadly it's not handicap accessible. The huge outdoor eating space is wonderful. The food is always very... good. The secret to Ohiopyle is to go a little later in the day. By 3 or 4pm ppl are starting to leave making parking easierand by 5 you frequently have the place to yourself. Read more
Great location and nice patio seating, great weather day. The menu claims farm raised and a lot a natural home cooked vibe. The... Brisket Nachos were a 1 star, Velveta like fake cheese, cheap chips and cold canned beans. Also had a club sandwich that wasok, not great, not bad. Pretty slow service. Read more
Locally owned in ohiopyle. We ordered up on the top deck, but had to go down to the bar to get any kind of drink. The outdoor... seating was very nice. Our food took a little bit to come out. They were out of nachos, romaine and iceberg lettuce (so nosalads). I had ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich with fries. When I saw my sandwich I was highly disappointed. Itwasn't a chicken breast it was chicken lunch meat- which I couldn't eat. I ate the bacon, cheese and spinach along with myfries. The fries were very good. My husband got the brisket tacos he said their were 3 small tacos. He said it was pretty good. Read more
Nice menu with a variety of appetizers, salads, burgers. We all enjoyed the food and the fact that we could bring our grandson... and dog. The outside deck was cool and breezy. Although it was a very busy Sunday and there were alot of customers, once weordered, the wait wasn't as long as we expected and the order was correct. The burgers were excellent. Tourist here, what I am about to tell you is important, this restaurant is a huge disappointment. 1st, the kitchen. It's really... the heart of the problem, it is very slow and they just don't care about the food they put out because, frankly they don't haveto, dumb hungry tourists like me will stop anyway. The spinach dip came out with the meal, cold and microwaved. The burger waswell done and dry. My chicken salad sandwich was just pathetic. No tomato, lettuce or flavor.
