Wine 4/5 Experience 3/5 Overall 3.5/5 They serve boxed food on single-use utensils/plates (besides wine glasses). the plastic... knives were pathetic to cut the salami with, we asked for a real knife and the waitress sighed and said ?sorry we don?t?indicating that it?s requested frequently. The ?fantastic view? is obstructed for a majority of the seating locations by thepergola. Read more

If I could give this place a zero star I would ! The wine was delicious but the hospitality was awful ! family and friends made... a reservation for this place for the first time hoping it would be amazing but it was awful . There was a red hair in mywater when I poured it into my plastic cup . We ordered 5 mixed flights. We only received four of them the server neverclarified that the mixed flight was combined into four instead . When asked the hostess mentioned ? they didn?t want to washmore of the glasses? especially during a pandemic . Read more

Discrepancies should be made and outlined in the menus in italics/bold I'll get to this point in a bit. The lack of customer... service was pessimistic and disappointing. We had a reservation and it took awhile for anyone to check us in, or anyone noticewe were there. Once we were seated, the tables weren't cleaned, or wiped down. There was still remnants of the previous party'sfood crumbs on the table. Our waiter told us they would be back to clean the table up for us, but it took awhile to get to thepoint by awhile I mean 15+ minutes. One of our bottles of water had a hair in it. It's a pretty warm day, and when the requestfor more water was made at the start to middle of our reservation was made, it took 15 to 20 minutes to get, and I had to walkconstantly to the bar for water to be given to us. We ordered 5 flights per person, and we were told that they doubled two ofour flights to save on the need to wash glasses, because if they gave us all the flights we individually ordered, they'd have towash and clean more glasses, and "then we'd be behind the bar cleaning glasses all day", that was never stated to our party. Andthat discrepancy should be stated in italics in the menu. That even if you made a reservation ahead of time, in a timely manner, the lack of preparation should not be expected. I am 100% sure that the parties around us were not treated in that form. We hada reservation made 2 weeks ago, where we paid our deposit, and you don't have enough preparation to be able to provide separateglasses for every person, that is not hospitality, at all. That's an unprofessional presentation and impression you're makingfor yourself as a business. And I've never had that be an issue, in any other vineyard/ wine tasting before. The experience wasbelow average expectations. The wine was great. But the service was awful. It genuinely felt like, "hi we are open, but highexpectations, or average expectations of what hospitality should be with you, as a client Read more

We loved our stop here on the way to LA. The premises are so nice and well maintained and the servers were very attentive and... friendly. I also really appreciated that we could bring our own food which we did. Having that option really enhanced ourexperience since some of the group wanted to have some wine and some did not so we were not forced into a full scale winetasting. I also loved that the different wine varieties were labelled accordingly. Read more

I want to like this place alot since it's a great location, I'll be back to try the other wine tasting. I always go for reds,... but personally did not enjoy them. The host and my server barely tried, (almost got a snobby reflection) would have liked toknow more about the wines etc. But certain styles of "flights" you don't get this opportunity, especially when all the winepours come out on a baking sheet. Like I say though wonderful and manicured grounds, worth it for that! And right off the mainroad in Ojai. Read more

Great spot for wine tastings, and sitting in the sun admiring the blue skies, mountains and the vineyard. Dog friendly too!

The most noticeable thing about Topa is the aesthetics - beautiful building, interiors, gardens, and even the surrounding... mountains. Would recommend catching the sunset from here. They have a decent wine collection; we could not taste the differentwines, but had the rose and it was incredible. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. On weekends, they have livemusic and food trucks. Would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Ojai. Read more

Cute little winery. Our plans to check out a local hot spring fell through and we ended up at Topa Mountain Winery on Easter... Sunday. They have a big spacious outdoor area with great seating. It's dog and family friendly. There were quite a few familieshaving picnics here. Looks like they brought their own food. The little kids had plenty of space to run around. I found Topa tobe super relaxing. It was a warm and sunny day. Bring some sun screen and sunglasses if you're going to sit outside for yourwine tasting experience. Read more
