Great prices and delicious food! A hidden gem and the desert is fantastic.
Finally made it to the restaurant last night and it was well worth the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. I got the meatloaf... which comes with mashed potatoes, green beans & a biscuit. My friend got the country style ribs which came with baked beans &potato salad. The biscuits were so good we bought extra to take home ???? If you go you must try one of their homemadedesserts. So yummy ???? I got the turtle cheesecake and took a chocolate peanut butter to go ???????? Lovely rustic, countrydecor. Live music on Friday evening. Our waitress was wonderful. Beware of their hours if you are planning a visit. Open forlunch only Tuesday-Friday 11 am-2 pm & they open for dinner on Friday evenings 5-8 pm. Closed Saturday, Sunday & Monday. LastFriday of the month they have a live music & classic cars. We had a delightful time & would definitely make plans to come backout sometime to try something else off the menu ?????????????? I've been here twice so far and there was definitely a reason why I came back. The staff is very friendly and actually care... about how they can service you. The prices are very reasonable and if you like home cooked meals this is the place for you. I'veeaten the meatloaf, Mexican Casserole and cobblers so far. I'd order them again. I love the feel of the restaurant as the décoris really neat. There's plenty of space in the barn area or even the yard for outdoor events. I've tried the recommendations bythe staff and wasn't disappointed at all. They serve delicious desserts as well. Can't beat the overall experience of the HenHouse. Really cool inside. We rode up from OKC. But found out its not a restaurant any longer.
