Azteca combo was packed with flavor and was great. Double order of fajitas was also fantastic the sear and flavor on the steak... was way better than the chicken however the chicken was as well packed with flavor. Atmosphere was friendly and inviting veryclean and organized. Did not care for the cilantro rice tasted like the Uncle Ben's rice from Walmart. The regular tomato baseSpanish rice is great as well as the refined beans. Read more

This used to be one of our favorite places. We came in for taco Tuesday ordered our usual. My first drink was nothing but ice. I... accepted it and said I’ll take another if you can promise it’s not all ice. She comes back, same thing. Told me the ownerswife (blonde lady) was behind the bar and she told her but she made it the same. We sent it back and this is where I’m superdisappointed in the character and customer service of this woman. She came took my drink, scooped the ice out of the top andbrought it back. 3/4ths if even that full. Terrible customer service and for an owner? I’ve lost disrespect for this locationn Their tacos are incredible. I’m disappointed I have to write this but I hope it changes something down the road. Doyourself a favor and go to the midtown location. Read more

My family took me here for Father’s Day this afternoon and all I can say is this is an undiscovered gem. They serve Latin... cuisine but you can get more basic Mexican type fare as well. We will definitely be coming back in the future. A nice diningexperience, not too loud, temp is comfortable and you don’t feel rushed to clear the table. Sara, our server, was delightfuland we had a great conversation with her before leaving. Recommend you give 1492 a try on your next outing, it won’tdisappoint and you may just find a new favorite dining place. Read more

Walked in with a friendly greeting and got to sit right down. My wife ordered the Queso. She loved it. The salsa and chip where... good. I got the Tamale and beef Enchilada. Both very good. The beef was different then your normal. It was very good. The placewas very clean and the workers always doing something. Read more

I arrived about 6:30 on a Friday night. I knew they would be busy but I wasn't expecting complete chaos. There was one girl... working behind the bar to serve customers sitting at the bar, the tables in the bar and to make drinks for tickets coming infrom other servers. There were empty bar stools at the bar and nobody waiting for a table so it wasn't really "that" busy. I satdown at the bar and waited patiently for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged. I asked for a "gold" margarita with GranMarnier. She came back almost 10 minutes later. The drink was one of the worst margaritas I've ever tasted. It literally tastedlike tequila, water and a little lime juice. Take a look at the photo I posted and you can see it looks like cloudy water. Idecided to stick it out, at this point after almost 20 minutes I had a glass of water and the watered down margarita. Still nonapkin, silverware, chips or salsa. I had to grab the bartenders attention and ordered a bowl of white queso with chorizo. Thequeso arrived but still no chips or salsa so I sat there. After a few minutes the chips finally arrived so I was at finally ableto taste it. For a $9 bowl of queso advertised to have chorizo I had to laugh. There was maybe a spoonful of chorizo, that's it.I used a chip to stir it up since I still didn't have any silverware. Even after stirring the bowl it was mostly just allcheese with almost no chorizo. Each bite I took all I could think of is how great this would be if I could actually get a bitof chorizo. Let's just say it was nothing more than a "chorizo tease". Give me a break, why be so cheap and stingy with thesausage? About this time the little bowl of salsa finally showed up and it was barely average at best. After munching on thequeso for a while I again had to raise my hand to get the bartenders attention to order the Patron dinner. When my dinner wasput in front of me I meant to ask for silverware, but he dropped the plate and just walked away without Read more
