It had been some time since I ate at Charlestons. I had the chicken fried steak and my fiance had the grilled pork chops. Our... server was outstanding and very attentive. My fiance enjoyed her chops very much and my chicken fry was adequate. The nexttime I visit I'll go back to either steak,burger or catfish. When I walked in the front door there was three people standing there ready to help me they sat me down my waiter showed up... right away took my drink order he was very polite, most of time when I go out and eat I don't like the wait staff hounding me toplace my order, like going in give drink order and when drinks get to table place my appetizer order and then like to wait formy appetizer to show up to the table before I place my main course order. After placing my drink order I told the guy give me alittle bit im going to look over the menu he did not come back and bother me until I was ready thumbs up for paying attentionsir. Took about 15 to 20 minutes for my meal to come out to the table which is not a problem if I'm going in to sit down andeat I don't like to be rushed and if I wanted fast food I would have gone to McDonald's. So thumbs up again I ordered the porkchops mashed potatoes and coleslaw let me tell you the pork chops are out of this world with flavor and tender, the mashedpotatoes well I'm used to homemade mashed potatoes I don't do box taters but this is not home so they was okay for instant thecoleslaw well that was a little different first bite I wondered why the hell they would put cilantro in my coleslaw after 2 or 3bites I seen it was actually pretty darn good but that first bite would definitely threw me off. I had an amazing dinner service here. Laura was our server last night and she did a spectacular job making sure our table was... accounted for. Service was fast and food was delicious. I had the Fried chicken steak with mashed potatoes and sweet glazescarrots and it was heavenly. Definitely will be back and try more menu items! Read more
Oh my goodness... the pictures I took were horrible, and I was havingsuch a good time I forgot to get a pictureof the main... course, but everything was amazing, even, and especially the service! We were traveling through Oklahoma City and my daughter found Charleston's on the map. What a delightful dinner we had! The... prime rib was excellent, honestly one of the best dishes I've ever had. And the gumbo was amazing!! My daughter had the ribsand said they were absolutely delicious. Our server, Teague, was marvelous. He was attentive, helpful, and fun. I don't knowwhen my travels will bring me this way again, but if I make it back to Oklahoma City, Charleston's will be where I come fordinner! Read more
First, Long Island Ice Tea was fantastic. My favorite drink and this one was the best I?ve had in a long time. The salad was... great and the ranch dressing was tasty. Main course was prime rib which was spectacular. The creamy horseradish sauce wasfantastic. Loaded baked potato was great as well. Charleston?s is an amazing restaurant. The service was outstanding, the servers work as a team. Our glasses were never empty,... and our requests were taken care of immediately. The food was outstanding. We ordered Dynamite Shrimp for an appetizer, whichhad great flavor and texture. We ordered Prime Rib for our entrees. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the portion size wereenormous. We were thoroughly impressed with this restaurant, and will definitely eat there again. Read more
