I always have my builders meetings here. They have a nice back room that seats about 40 people and they have a calender... specifically for reserving that space. The wait staff and management are always fabulous people and the food is always good. Read more
Well today I took me, my kids, sister n law and the dog dined In well from jump the atmosphere was pleasant Claudia the waitress... was extremely pleasant, on point to the tee with customer service so 10 star to that unfortunately I and my sis order the samethings but different sides. Well we both enjoying our meal then she dug in the center cause she said her fish felt cold when shegot closer to center well I called the waitress and she seem sad because I explained to her that her food was cold but she tookback well her food came in she noticed it was the same fish that she sent back in I said there wrong for that because that'scross contamination because who takes food and place it back on grill after a customer makes a complaint about it. I did speakto the owner who stated grill is set or over 385 degrees. That cross contamination wasn't the right word to use well like Istates I work fast food and we were taught as crew and managers cause I started as a crew member to management that any foodreturn is to go I'm waste bucket to get counted as waste inventory to keep up with food cost by this time I remain silencebecause the best response Is no response so here's my review I will never ever eat there again it starts with management thendown to crew. Shows me he don't know much about food business, well let me run my credentials I been a blogger and food criticfor 6 yrs and this is unexceptable I can imagine what else you do with the food. Horrible service. We had to wait 20 minutes just to get our drinks while I am watching the staff attend to other tables 2 or 3... members at time. Yes we were the only table with people of color. When we did get our drinks, one of the coffee cups had a HUGEred lipstick stain on the side as if they didn't even attempt to clean it. We informed the manager of the situation and why wewere leaving. When we were leaving the waitress said " that was a waste of my time." With that rudeness and lack of cleanlinessI don't recommend anybody eat here ever. Read more
I have two big compliments for Denny's. The first compliment is that my bill here is less than what I would have spent for a... dinner at McDonald's. If you're looking for a meal for a good price (especially right now) this is the way to go. The second bigcompliment is that I ordered their bacon burger and it was one of the better burgers I've had recently. This was a big surprise,because this is Denny's, right? We went around 8pm on Friday night, but again, this was Denny's so it wasn't that busy. When weleft it was picking up business (around 10pm). Most of the guys ordered breakfast for dinner and I think you know what you'regetting there. The coffee sure was good. The place was clean, the staff was nice and our waiter was excellent. Read more
Extremely disappointed in everything. But not the worst Denny?s experience I?ve had, so I did 2 stars. Waitress was very poor.... Food quality was subpar. Restroom had standing water puddle like something was leaking and pooled up. We got there at about 930pm. Maybe a little after. They were very busy and short staffed, so I had conditioned myself for it to be slow. And was stillvery disappointed. They did seem to call in wait staff. So our order was taken at 9:53. Our waitress didn?t stop at our tableagain until 10:40. Drinks were empty. We tried to flag her down a couple times to get refills and Annabelle ignored us. My dadasked another waitress what was taking so long and she said she would inform our waitress. What I perceived as the managerwalked by and asked if everything was alright, we said no and she didn?t care enough to find out why. Our food was finallybrought out at about 10:46. Mushrooms were shriveled up like they were cooked and cooled down. Which was odd because everythingwas hot. I?m now wondering if the food may have been reheated. There was hardly any sauce on it and the chicken was verydry. I?ve bragged about how good the bourbon chicken sizzlin skillet is to my dad and this was my chance to show him. But itfailed miserably and I know he?ll never bother with a Denny?s again. People who walked in after us had already left by the timewe got our food. Maybe our waitress missed delivering our meal and they had to reheat it or something. I don?t know, but I won?twaste my time going to 74th street Denny?s again. Excelent place, good service, good portioned plates and also good flavor , don't recommend the fried steak because is frozen... steak no real meat, but the rest of food are tasty. Read more
