Had lunch buffet. First time here in years. Rice was a little hard 1st batch, but they made a second batch and was fluffy. ... Tikka masala is the meat dish on buffet and is good. Tandoori chicken was added too. Gulab jam was warm as it should be andgood. Read more

It has been a long time since I have been at Gopuram. I remember when it used to be at 23rd Street by the Crest shopping center.... But I recently found this one on memorial road and decided to try it. When I went inside it was okay looking it looks moremodernized, which I preferred the look that the old location at 23rd had with the big fire place in the middle and thosedifferent themed special rooms, but what can you do it's the 21st. Now I sat down with my wife and kids and had the buffet whichwas good, my wife and I were big fans of the Chicken Tikka Masala which had very good flavor wasn't as spicy as I thought it wasgoing to be which it was enjoyable, now my kids were more fans of the naan bread and the mango custard. I will definitely beback to visit again. Read more

If I could put zero stars; I would. Firstly, they started putting everything up. Secondly, I found a roach in my food and the... employee stated ? okay well I?m not gonna charge.? That was a red flag that it has happened before. Read more

My husband and i were just there. The food was so bad...looked bad tasted bad They were either too salty or spicy. Spices were... not blended well. Selection was pathetic. I asked the server if the ownership has changed since the quality has changednegatively. She said, maybe it s because the cook is there only temporarily and the real "chef" will be back soon. So sad. Ican excuse disposables plates but bad food for a restaurant is unacceptable Read more

Place was Dirty, Musty and has roaches! Lady who was being chef, waitress and hostess was super nice but honestly this place is... Gross! Bugs were crawling the wall by our booth and when we moved tables there was another roach crawling the table next tous. Was told they had just sprayed BUT UH!! no! this is disgusting. Plus the AC was broken or something because it was too hot!couldn't enjoy our meal. I left my plate and so did my mom. Lady still tried to charge us each for a buffet and I said NOPE Iwill not pay for MINE and ended up paying for two which was my mom's and Daughter. Cant believe she still took our money eventhough we left feeling SICK out of there and she perfectly knew the issues! I always visited their other location off Meridianand 40 which is nicer inside and clean and AC always on BUT now, I don't think I want anything to do with the restaurant ownersat all. Save your money and go somewhere else. They are GROSS! Read more

For the first time trying it, its a great place up North. Nice ambiance, friendly staff. What I like about the restaurant is... that they bring out fresh food and serve it to you to the table. Also their food is not as spicy as I thought which is good fora non spicy eater like me. I would definitely recommend it giving it a try. Read more

Hidden gem? Possibly. This was my first time eating here. What I can tell you is that the food I had was phenomenal. Chef Omar... has a bright future in the culinary world. The chicken vindaloo and butter chicken are probably the best I have ever eaten, notjust in Oklahoma, but across the country. Don't walk out because the buffet isn't open for dinner service or because therestaurant is empty. I promise you, if chef Omar is cooking, you're in good hands. If he has a moment, talk to him. If hedoesn't, then just enjoy the food he prepared. Read more

Guporam, where to start ???? Your restaurant hours for lunch are 11am till 2pm, so your employee should not remove items before... 2pm. We came at 1:15pm, and the first thing said to us was we close at 2pm. Why not say welcome and enjoy the food. You stillhave 45 minutes before closing. We saw a customer who came in at 1:40pm, he was told at the door that we would close in a fewminutes, he walked away, you lost a sale and a customer. Compared to 20 years ago where gopuram started on 23rd Street, thislocal restaurant is nowhere close to the quality and standards which kept customers coming back. I am not going to get into thequality of food, not surprised. However we were very disappointed to pay $12.99 plus tax, for 4 people $56.60 with tax addanother $6-$8 for tips. So about $64 bucks. The butter chicken was watered down and there was nothing on the buffet line, whenwe asked for it, employee Omar chopped down some raw chicken breast and quickly cooked it in the sauce, let me be honest thechicken meat was raw, chewy and dangerous undercooked. Owner Verun, Kindly take this review as a chance to improve yourrestaurant's guest experience. You have worked very hard before to maintain the quality and food standard. This is not how weremembered Gopuram. Very Disappointed, Period! Read more
