Immediately, WOW! Atmosphere is modern and lots of natural light (which I personally LOVE) and lots of seating throughout the... restaurant and on the patio. Including large booths and long tables for groups. They also had tvs with sports playing. Iordered an El Jefe drink, at the bar, that was A-1. A breakfast shot turned drink, served with a piece of delicious, perfectlycrispy bacon. The whiskey pour in the drink was perfect. For my main I ordered The Kitchen Sink with scrambled eggs instead.The flavors were sooo amazing in this dish. I was absolutely stuffed but kept eating to enjoy the flavors. Food is GREAT!!! We ordered the breakfast classic and french toast and additional sausage! Everything was great! No complaints... whatsoever! Service was great. I did not wait for long for the food to be served. Our server nathan was very prompt andprofessional! Hes a gem! Place is clean and loved the high ceilings! The food was ok, but the cafe is super cute. My husband had the chicken fried steak and grits and said it was just ok. The... flavor of the grits reminded us of Mexican rice. Food was pretty good but everything was very sweet. The bacon was tasty but expensive. 4.50 for 3 slices... Cute spot. The poinsettia was larger than expected and I loved it! My boyfriend had the classic with a side blueberry pancake... and hash brown tumblers. He loved it. I had the lox and bagel and wasn't too impressed. The amount of smoked salmon you getcompared to everything else on the plate is absolutely not portioned. We had great service here. The restaurant was very busy, but the waitress, food expo, food runners, and other wait staff did a... good job. Everyone was clearly working hard (especially the cooks). We ordered Beignets, Chicken and Waffles, the BenedictJohnny, The Classic Plate, and a Kids Pancake. Everyone was satisfied with their food choices. The Beignets were hot andfresh. The sauces could be better. Most of us liked them best plain, but if we had to choose a sauce, the Nutella one was theleast disappointing. The Chicken and Waffles wasn’t over-the-top delicious like it can be other places. The Benedict Johnnywas very good. A great balance of flavors and textures. It wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be, but it was still VERYGOOD. The Classic Plate was, you know, basic but well executed. The Kids Pancake was good and HUGE for a kids meal.
