My wife and I came here on our anniversary. Overall the service was great, when we first came in our waitress was busy and the... her coworkers helped us with our drinks and appetizer order. Rarely do you see serving teams assist one another like that. Westarted off with the Baltimore crab dip as an appetizer. It was pretty good but it could have used just a little more crab init. For the entree I decided to go with the Pokebowl It was by far the best pokebowl I’ve ever had from the presentation tothe the over flavor of the bowl it’s self. My wife decided to get the bayou shrimp, the shrimp was great and the fried okrahad a perfect crisp however the rice looked like it was just steamed rice with some pieces of canned corn in it. We booked a table for 13 in the “private room.” It’s an area by the kitchen. The “private” aspect is achieved with... pulling curtains on the windows which was very convenient for pictures. The view of the lake was amazing! Perfect for datenight. I ordered the Salmon. The portion was more than satisfying to the appetite. For appetizers we had the chips and dip,catfish balls, and a few more and they were all amazing to say. The calamari batter looked a little darker than usual and wassoggy but it may have been that batch only. We interacted with Katie, Matt (or Matthew), and our main server who I regrettablydo not remember her name because she was amazing!!!! All drinks stayed refilled as they kept a good eye on our group. I recommend this place right before sunset just so you can enjoy the view along side your meal. The lobster or crab bisque soup... is great just ask for them to go easy on the salt. The best dish of our table was definitely the seabass, everyone agreed thatit just took things to another level. I would definitely recommend it. One of my favorite places, I love the view of the lake and the atmosphere is so intimate. A wonderful place to catch up with... friends, celebrate a special occasion, a date night, really it’s just perfect for all occasions! The calamari is one of myfavorite appetizers, for dinner the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious, also the tuna is usually sold out its soincredible. Highly recommend trying this place! I like this place! The service is impeccable, the view is gorgeous, and they have THE best fish and chips. That being said, the... crab cakes with the eggs Baltimore / fish cake eggs Benedict were definitely the worst I’ve ever had, see my sad plate. Justtasted weird, possibly imitation fish or crab sticks in there? Strange texture and off-taste. Wasn’t even average, I justcouldn’t eat it. My food was also cold, not even warm. I think they made it too soon then forgot about it. I was hungry so Iate what I could- I hate complaining when eating out and find it awkward. They should take those fishcakes off the menu or redothe recipe. Despite that, I will be back and try something else or have the fish and chips! ???? Read more
I ordered the Ritz crusted cod. The potatoes tasted fresh and the peppercorn sauce was delicious. The asparagus was perfectly... seasoned. A bit pricey but definitely worth it for the great service, nice environment and clean restaurant. Window seating getsyou a nice view of the lake. The restaurant is nice and quiet as well. A good place for a special occasion and just rightportion sizes, especially if you want to walk around the lake afterwards and don't want to carry leftovers. Read more
