I have always loved this restaurant, the food and atmosphere are amazing. Just wanted to leave this review today, because I was... so pleased with their generosity. My friend and I went to Iguana at lunch. I am leaving for a trip at the end of the week, andhave been wearing a mask, as I don't want to chance catching covid before I get on the plane. When I told the hostess myconcern about being away from the general crowd at the restaurant, she was so sweet, and sat us at a completely isolated table. It was really kind. Great staff, awesome atmosphere! I loved all 3 different tacos I had and fantastic guac! A few things were off (such as very... watery salsa and the queso being just kind of like nacho sauce). But I do think their elevated tacos are worth coming for! Theybring the SPICE with their specialty salsas. Read more
We had a great time at Iguana's. I had never been to this place before. My wife and I are always on the look out for good... Mexican food. The food was good. I had a Barbacoa Chimichanga. It was a little on the smallish side but very good. It was friesjust enough so that it isn't greasy. The beans were moist and flavorful as well. I totally forgot to tale photos of our plates.All I have are the resulting dirty dishes. I suppose empty plates are a good sign. Fun environment with nice paotings in thewall. Came for a farewell dinner for a friend moving back to St Louis. Turned out to be Taco Tuesday and had a fitting menu.
