We like eating here now and then, the food is like home and wait staff very attentive.

I sat at the bar for a to go order. Waited 10 minutes before someone decided to see if I had been helped yet. Then had to wait... an additional 20 minutes to get finally get my order of a traditional breakfast, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns ( I wanted withsautéed onions, welldone) and toast. Hashbrowns were not well done nor had the oinion. And while I waited the server offeredme a drink on the house, (for the wait) and brings me a cup of room temperature OJ with no ice. Just realized how ridiculous it is that I just went to Jimmy's egg ate breakfast and left without eating anything because they... can't serve a meal while it's hot.... Seriously for 10 bucks next time I'll stay home and make my own French toast and save thehassle and money .... I don't care if it's a waitresses first day that's a lousy excuse, first day ever being in a restaurant,maybe ? You never been out to eat before, never seen a waiter or waitress do their job once in your life and realize that youknow cups aren't supposed to be sitting empty and food supposed to be served hot..... Great coffee refills! . The biscuits and gravy were cold. The country omelet lacked the bacon that was listed in description. ... The place was clean and servers very friendly.. . I have visited other chains that didn't disappoint- but probably will hesitateto return to this one. Read more

Food was good as always. Now the service was terrible. Our waiter was disinterested in working today, Spending more time... chatting with the line cook than doing what needed to be done. Sitting down and chatting while taking orders even though it tookten minutes to take our order. Brings the wrong drinks, brings us cold food, brings us half our order, and never brings us ourcheck..... There was only me and my wife. So it should have been a fairly easy task.. We discussed walking out due to having towait a very long time for him to take our order, 10 to 15 minutes. It will be a while before we return. We were visiting OKC and found this delightful breakfast restaurant. I ordered an omelette with ham, cheddar cheese, bell... pepper, and onions. It comes with two sides; I got bacon and the home fries. The omelet was well made and delicious. The baconwas too cooked for my taste and the fries were pretty good. I loved the toast they were crunchy but not burned. The waffle wassoft and spongy. We got it with blueberries that came on the side. The juice was tasted like freshly squeezed and the coffee wasexcellent. The place was clean and it has a cozy/hometown feeling. Read more
