The pulled pork and brisket were tender, but sadly bland and a little dry. The mild BBQ sauce was very thick and too sweet for... me personally. The baked beans and coleslaw were fine, but nothing special. It's what you would expect from any generic BBQjoint. The building detracts heavily from the dining experience. The dining area was somewhat hazy from smoke, making us feellike there was a ventilation issue in the kitchen and there were a few flies that would not leave us alone. Read more

Have made a few visits here and been pleased every time. The rub on the meat is very flavorful and I believe they also put it on... the okra which really takes it up a notch. It?s always been clean, they get the food out quickly, and the prices are comparableto other BBQ places. A nice variety on the menu including a Turkey leg that I plan on trying on a future visit. Only thing Iwould change is making the hot sauce spicer. It?s still a little too sweet for hot in my opinion. Read more

Very typical BBQ place. Small room with sitting tables up front. Cashier and cooks with grill (sort of open kitchen) at the back... of the house. One wall is covering with mural - city line and another wall covered with TVs. Food is ok. Brisket does look abit dry - like, not smoked but boiled. The bologna is just a bologna frayed with mustard. Food is pretty mediocre, but there is2 major perks with that place - the staff are very friendly and the place is open in Sunday. Also, very good smoked smell on theparking spot from smoker. Wow! I was not expecting this restaurant to be so amazing! I'm from NC and have high expectations when it comes to Pit Smoked... Meats..this place made me feel back at home. Brisket and Ribs were very soft and had a great smokey flavor! Baked beans tastedalmost like my mamas. Mac&Cheese was soupy just not the way I prefer it but everything else made up for it! Been wanting to hit them up for sometime now. Ribs were A, Brisket B, Chicken quarters B- Mac n cheese and slaw were so-so... nothing to stand out. (But better than chain BBQ places FOR SURE!!! This place is a hidden gem. Ive passed it several times without noticing it. Google suggested it when I asked about catfish. It... was delicious and fried just right. I loved the Cole slaw and the baked bean were fantastic as well. But the ribs were the starof my dinner. They were thick and meaty! The smoke with the rub. OOOHH Mann! I can't wait to go back. The ???? Leg and Brunt Ends, Spicy coleslaw and potato salad are the ???? ???? I highly recommend. Y'all need a food truck, and... need to be at the fairgrounds with Oklahoma City Fair comes. Parking is kind of bad but the food is VALID!! I went for the baked potato but they were out. Got the loaded fries instead. The... batter they are fried in is delicious. Whole meal was bomb. Ribs and spicy bbq sauce were good too. Definitely recommend. Read more
