We were feeling spontaneous so had no reservation, but were seated at the bar, so that was fine with us. The service was smooth... and friendly and the atmosphere is great with the intricately carved wooden figures all around. My husband got the elk steakwhich he enjoyed. I got the fish special which was just ok; it was way too salty for my taste. Overall, a nice evening out and Iwould definitely try this place again. Read more

It was not busy when we went in and yet we still had to wait while the host ran around. Once st the table we asked for kid... menus.... about 10 minutes later a different lady came and had the kid options hand written bc they couldn't get it toprint....this whole time no one took our drink order ..... then my husband's drink was empty for a while before he got arefill..... the food was good but service was definitely spoty.....for the cost it's not worth it in my book Read more

Great restaurant with a huge variety of whiskey and Scotch. The food and drink were excellent. We had a group of four, and we... all loved our meals and appetizers. I really wanted to give four stars because the service was lack luster, but the awesome foodand drinks make up for the poor service on this trip. The server was friendly, just not attentive. The flavor of our food was good and there was no wait on a Sunday afternoon for brunch which was nice but the wait time for food... was slow and our table was wet when we sat down. We wanted to order salmon benedict but they were out of salmon unfortunately. Read more

My husband and I love trying new (to us) restaurants - especially steakhouses - but this was not a great experience from the... start. We are pretty spontaneous so we don?t generally make reservations, but love sitting at the bar so it?s generally not abig deal. I call about 6-6:30 on a Friday evening and asked if they had any available reservations - they said the soonest wouldbe about 2 1/2 hours later but said the bar was currently open, first come, first serve. Awesome! We head that way and snag acouple seats at the bar. The first thing we noticed was the restaurant itself was only about 50% full (and stayed that way theentire evening - we saw multiple tables besides that did not have customers the entire time we were there). So, a littlestrange, but okay. We both order drinks. The bartender wasn?t terribly friendly. My husband got a beer and I got an oldfashioned. His beer was delivered with about a third of the glass just full of head, and no offering to top off or for anotherbeer. We ordered the devilled eggs for appetisers, the couple next to us said you couldn?t go wrong with anything on the menu. The devilled eggs had absolutely no flavor or seasoning except for the paprika on top. They were also pretty dry. We couldn?teven finish them. We got a wedge salad which was fine. For entrees, I got a filet and my husband got a ribeye. My steak wasgood, and I like that they give you a grilled jalapeño with every meal. His was over cooked the first time, and the brought himanother which was cooked fine but they forgot the seasoning on it the second time (no salt, nothing). The sides weren?tmemorable. Overall, we felt like it was a waste of money and that the service wasn?t that great. Read more

Nice bar setup. I'm sure if you're here for a drink they're probably great but my chicken fried steak was only so so. There was... a lot of chicken fried and not much steak to be found, it looked good tho. I was a huge fan of the broccoli with cheese sauceand sweet potato fries. Interestingly enough, next time I'll get the fried chicken; it looked so much better. Read more

Yee Haw! I love this place! Located at the OKC Stockyards, McClintock's feels like you jave walked into a late 19tu century... restaurant/saloon. The atmosphere is classic west with a very large and wonderfully ornate bar. We had lunch here and did notorder one if their steaks. However, that is on my short list of things to do here in OKC. I ordered the Dirty Southern Burger. It was a rather larger burger with delicious beef topped with hime made peminto cheese and jalapenos. Wonderful. Tinamarie hadfried chicken livers. They were delightfully crust coated and very juicy on the inside. I can't tell you how many time I haveeaten survey dried out chicken livers. These were great. I am originally from the Fort Worth Texas area and have been to theFort Stockyards numerous times. Of course the OKC Stockyards aren't as developed, it however reminds me of the Fort WorthStockyards back in the 70's and 80' hen it wasn't as touristy. We had a great time. Check it out! Read more

We went with a large party for Sunday brunch and had a blast in the big banquet room. $3 mimosas are dangerous. We loved the... sausage roll appetizer, and my chicken and waffles were great. The waffle was one of the better ones I?ve ever had at a brunchspot, and the fried chicken was pretty solid for being a steakhouse. Our table tried all kinds of foods, including frog legs, bacon cups (weirdly served cold rather than hot and fresh bacon), and pretty much half of the brunch menu. Everyone seemed tolove their food except for one. For that one that didn?t, they felt that the caprese was a bit of a miss, but we had so muchextra food that it didn?t matter much to us. The pineapple mimosas are definitely the move here. Much better than the standardOJ. We?ll be back to try out the steaks some night soon! Read more
