Listen...it's in the name...Off The Hook...and off the hook it is. SO good...flavor for days, weeks, months, years. Catfish was... fried & seasoned well. Shrimp were delicious. The garlic fries was a nice touch. The gumbo...the gumbo...tasted like mymama's...the real deal, people. Now the customer service...I felt like I was at my favorite aunties house. Multiple times, I wasasked if everything was okay or if there was anything I needed. Loved it. Lastly, the music was bumping...mos def will be back. Read more
Came here on a Saturday for lunch and it did not disappoint. I ordered Fried Shrimp and okra. It was delicious. Very good... seasoning. My child ordered the "kid's fish strip" and really liked it. I tried a bite and it had a nice taste to it, not fishyat all. Overall delicious and we will be back. Indoor seating is smaller (looks to hold around 25), but there is some outdoorseating. They have a drive thru for picking orders up, which is nice. It's important to note that the hours are 11-4. Read more
The food is good here. This was like a lobster grilled cheese and it is FULL OF LOBSTER. I could only eat half and saved the... other half for later. I have gotten ?lobster rolls? from other places, who shall remain nameless ????, and there?s probablytriple the amount of lobster here. I also ordered garlic fries and I feel they could use a little more flavor. You expect morewith a name like ?garlic fries? but it feels like you just got fries. I seen this place on Foodnetwork and always wanted to try it, but never had the time. I was finally able to pay them a vist and... I am glad that I did! The lobster grilled cheese was out of this world delicious with cheese and peppers. I give much praise forthe wonderfully flavored collard greens with turkey leg (not too many restaurants can cook collards like my husband does), butthey knocked it out the park! If you get the chance to try them out, you will not be disappointed. Another great feature is youcan see directly into the kitchen and watch the cooks perform their magic! The melted lobster sandwich and collard greens were great! Also got the seafood wonton that were really good too. The wait was... the only downside. But I went during the lunch rush so that's to be expected. Will definitely be going back to try otherthings! Read more
Amazingly good. Not sure what took me so long to try this place. I recommend you not wait and give it a try. Best fried okra... I've ever had. I rounded up but if I could give 3.5 I would. I spent about $40 on the fish, shrimp n grits, and the smothered seafood over... rice. If the fish hadn?t been too salty it would?ve been FIRE!!!
