Took us 40 minutes to get through the drive through and there was only one car in front of us. ordered at the speaker but then... had to tell the VERY high person at the window my order two more times before they got it on the register, and then had toclarify again because they still got it wrong on the ticket. and then the order had extra stuff i didnt order and was stillmissing items i DID order in it. drove a mile home and the food was already cold, which means it wasnt even hot when i was givenit at the window. this location is terrible Read more

You couldn?t pay me to eat or spend money here. The unfortunate part is the ideal restaurant in the ideal location. The... McDonalds across the street is one of the more profitable locations in the STATE. Imagine if this Popeyes had the reputation of?good?. When I walked in, the attendant was cleaning the floor. She looked up, looked at me, then went back to sweeping. Then she... walked toward the back. The person in the kitchen area looked at me, but did not speak. About three minutes later, no one hadspoken to me, much less taken my order. I went across the street and ate at KFC. Seems like the best choice I could have made. I don't see any reason to return to Popeye's. I give it one star only because I couldn't figure out how to give zero stars. Read more

Photos of chicken at this location in a black neighborhood. 2nd set of photos are from the Edmond location 10 minutes away... white location I called Maria Lugo the district manager and she was at the Penn Ave location this morning due to a bad fryer.And she replied It's the staffing issue. I'm calling the Health department Monday Morning and I sent photos to channel 4 and 9news. I can't believe it's ok to serve food like that. Read more

The chicken was delicious. The manager is either hard headed or a nut. I ordered a meal and she gave me only chicken. I walked... in to the dining room and she let me know that I was supposed to use the drive thru. I will know if I ever go back. Read more

I witnessed them treat a sweet old lady door dasher like GARBAGE. They gave the door dashers order to someone else by mistake.... They said someone already came and got that order she said well ok can you make another one? She was super nice about it. Theyturned around and started working not answering her so the lady asks again so are you guys going to replace it? They just ignorethe old lady laughing won?t even acknowledge her she?s on the phone with doordash and the customer explaining delay and theywon?t talk to her so she says is there any manager here they still refused to speak or acknowledge her . I suspect racism causethe lady is white and they were perfectly nice to black customers and the lady wasn?t rude or anything with them . I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, Cajun fries and a regular coke. What I received was the spicy chicken sandwich, red beans... and rice and a Diet Coke. Red beans and rice were good but not what I ordered and I can?t stand diet soda so out of the threethings I ordered two were wrong. 30%. Not a good batting average. Read more

Food was very fresh and the girl who took the order was very polite. Lobby was closed, so we ordered Togo. Popeyes always wins... the flavor war for our group compared to any other fried food joint.
