Enjoyed my first ever lunch at Rococo this week. Loved the atmosphere and the blue booths! This place would be great for date... night! The blue cheese cookie and salmon cookies were unexpectedly yummy. It was a very hard decision on what to order but Iwas super pleased with my Swordfish sandwich, no breading on the fish at all and the thin bun was just right to not over powerthe fish. So good! I had the Sunday Brunch double patty with fried egg, lettuce, tomato, dill spear pickle Cheeseburger with a side of fried... potatoes. Also, an a fried Wild Mushroom appetizer. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server Alexandria wasgreat and very accommodating. The establishment is clean and very friendly. Their CRAB CAKE!!! Always my favorite. The new place is really beautiful and the food is awesome as usual. I will miss the... darker, more intimate place on Penn where we went often, however this one has a really nice patio as we are still observingCOVID precautions. There was a lot more seafood on the new menu and only one steak (filet). No lobster tail but there were atleast 4 dishes containing lobster. Even though we were the only table on the large covered patio on a Wed. night, we still gotawesome service which is the norm for any of Bruce's places. Amazing place! We have now tried this place twice with friends and as a date night and were very pleased both times! The first... time we were seated at the bar and what a friendly environment! They ask your name and actually remember it. The other patronswere just as friendly and it was a great experience that was actually so fun! The food was amazing. The first time we got themeatball dish, the scallop and mushroom risotto, and the filet and were all very pleased with our food. The second time westarted with the salmon cookies and the crab cake. OMG those were both very good and the crab cake is the best ever!! For themain dish I got the Lobster risotto and he got the pork chop and boy were they good too! We will have to go back to try moredishes! Our waiter that we had at our table was just as nice and the bar staff and we felt welcome and valued there. The pricesare a little more than you would pay at other places but very fair for the quality that you get there! Would highly recommendand we will be back! Amazing meal of apps... because how can you just choose one?! And you can't visit Rococo without getting the Rococo crab cake.... Absolutely the best anywhere hands down. The octopus was delicious. Our visit was nothing less than amazing. Our waitress Meridith was so helpful and knowledgeable. We ordered calamari, shrimp... cocktail, crab cakes & lobster mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. The rest of the staff was friendly and the ownerstopped by our table to make sure we were doing ok. Great food and a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Read more
