One acorn shy of a nuthouse. In-store line wrapped halfway around the large dining area, staff seemed hopelessly overwhelmed and... frazzled, several soda fountains cockeyed and dousing unwitting users in a sticky mess, and tepid lukewarm burgers delivered.Giving this place a pity 2nd star because the fries and ice cream were good, but I sure as heck won't be back. Ordered a cake, phoned to confirm they are open til 10 to pick it up before I go to work for nightshift, doors locked at 9:35!... NOT HAPPY AT ALL. Called in to store & explained I need that cake & they did eventually let me in, rude teenagers! Read more

Apparently the restaurant closes at 10:00 but they cut off online ordering through Skip The Dishes around 8:00pm. My order was... rejected by DQ after I had already submitted it. When I phoned to ask about it I was told that they shut off their Skip ordersearly due to Skip orders being really busy between 8-9 and the cleaning taking a long time. Sounds like they?re not schedulingstaff shifts to cover this and would rather lose out on business. Read more

Stopped in yesterday for supper while running errands with the kids. We were standing at the cash waiting for someone to take... our order or at least acknowledge we were there and neither happened. A group of girls standing at the ice cream machines andnot a single one said a word (too busy chatting amongst themselves). No thanks. We left and took our business elsewhere. Read more

This DQ is going downhill. The last blizzard I got had a total of 2 cookie dough pieces in my medium cookie dough Blizzard, now... this time it took 7 minutes for me to place my order in the drive though with 1 car in front of me (a total of 13 minutes to getmy blizzard from when I entered the drive though). It might be quicker to drive in to Calgary to get my blizzard ... Hopefullythis DQ can get it together eventually. Read more

Rather than spending our money abroad or in other provinces, we decided to spend our money "locally" - Calgary and surrounding... areas this summer, as our tiny commitment to contribute to local eateries. We have also made sure to complete mostly favorablereviews to help boost local businesses. We decided to stop at this DQ (we reside in Calgary). One way for a business to showthat it cares for its customers is to ensure cleanliness, especially during these trying times. We experienced a hard time finding a clean table. Out of 16 or 17 tables, only 3 were clean! There was debris on the ground and the bathroom was dirty. Notsure when the bathroom door hand panel has been wiped down or the sink faucet, toilet wall-attached bar handle, and the bathroommirror. There were 5 employees minimum, and we understand that they are young, however the state of this location wasunacceptable, especially for paying eat-in customers. Read more

Service was awful and slow, watched the girl who took my order stand around and stare at the order screen and then proceed to do... nothing more than a few times. It took 15 minutes to get 1 blizzard and a burger, the burger was made within a few minutes andthen sat behind their counter till the girl finally figured out what to do 15 mins later. There needs to be an adult workingthere to watch over the 10 kids behind the till, they were all running around aimlessly and off task. 3 orders after me gottheir food and left before I had my order. Not sure what training is going on there. Read more

I have ordered 2 cakes in the past month; as well as many others over the past ten+ years without issue. Just tried to special... order one and was told that they don?t do special order cakes and I could only buy one that?s already made; even though theydidn?t even have the type I wanted. EDIT: To show how much they respect customers, just look at the owner?s response to mycomplaint. The complaint was that I could not order a cake and they told me I could only choose from what was already sitting intheir freezer. The owner responded to my complaint by saying they?re sorry that I didn?t enjoy my meal. I might be overweight;probably obese if I?m being honest- but that doesn?t mean they had to suggest that I would eat an entire 10? ice cream cakemyself as my meal. I?ll admit that I feel very hurt and embarrassed now and know that the owner and employees probably all had anice big laugh at my expense with that response. Read more
