Have been coming here for years. This is a nice family owned Mexican restaurant. The food is freshly made and is always good.... They have specials throughout the week. I would definitely find out when they have tamales and try them. Seating is a littletight, so we usually get takeout. Read more

Pretty good breakfast burrito. Would have liked more egg, but they gave a generous amount of chorizo! Service was very friendly,... and I like the vibe of a small hole in the wall place. Not many tables, but enough for the location. Service isorder-at-the-counter. This was my first time at this place, so I will definitely have to try it again. I was expecting regularTex-Mex style breakfast tacos, but these were not made wrapped like you can get anywhere in Texas, so I'll keep searching. Read more

Moved to KC last year from the west coast and have been dying for authentic Mexican food. Not Midwesternized, but good, simple,... authentic. This family is sweet and they make yummy food that tastes like what we used to eat on the west coast and when wetravel to Mexico! Delightful street tacos and more! Pretty good. I got a chorizo breakfast taco, a bacon breakfast taco, and a bacon breakfast gordita. The chorizo taco was really... good. The bacon on both of the other items was really dry and didn't have much flavor .I wouldn't get the bacon items again. IfI go back I'd probably try the chorizo breakfast burrito instead. I'm also interested to try their tamales so I'll definitely goback again. Read more

Been here a few times. It is all delicious and their service is great. I am a fan of their tortas. I tried a burrito today,... still good but I am spoiled by California style burritos and in comparison these are fairly plain. Not bad by any means. Justnot what I really am looking for from a burrito. I will be sticking to the torta or tacos for now. Read more

Stopped in for lunch and we were not disappointed. We each had the taco platter, chips, salsa and queso. We were already picking... out our next meal while eating! Highly recommend this place. Read more
