I'm fairly fussy when it comes to places to eat, the service, parking, and most importantly, how the food tastes. Go Chicken Go... is what I call a fast food restaurant. I thought the service, place, and parking was adequate, but the chicken doesn't compareto Kentucky Fried Chicken. I did not care for the mashed potatoes, the gravy was gelatinous and not real tasting, but the coleslaw was good, even if it was on the dry side. We were hungry, it was there, so we stopped. When I get another craving for thistype of food, I'll go back there, but only because KFC is farther away. Read more
Some the best chicken you'll eat. Their mashed potatoes with butter are delicious. Must have fast food. You will love it.
Just ordered my gizzards and asked for corn the kid on the register didn't tell me they were out and didn't ask me if I would... like something else he just has me swipe my card only to find this out when I got my food . Ordered chicken livers, was asked to pull up and wait for 7 to 8 minutes. 25 minutes later, I had to go inside and ask where my... order was. They had apparently lost the order. Free pies doesn't make it ok. Do better. I had to raise this rating because thelivers we're so good. Read more
I don't understand how people like the chicken here, even the photos make it look like trash. However, the true locals know Go... Chicken Go has the absolute best gizzards and liver in the area. Pretty good chicken and the nice lady that waited on me was very helpful. I had to knock off a star for the nasty looking bright... yellow gravy. So go for the chicken, cole slaw and biscuits, but avoid the potatoes and gravy. Read more
