The food is decent, breakfast is good. I have a huge problem with the recent price increases though. My wife and I had... breakfast there Sunday and the bill for the two of us came to $42. That's about what we would pay at a steak house. Biscuitsand gravy cost $14, and $3.59 for a soda. Crazy. I wish my salary would go up as much as these prices have over the last yearof two. Read more
The food was very good and waiter seemed on top of things until we left and my husband said my baked chicken was $16.99. It was... on the 55+ menu so I know it was under $10. We had already left and live out of town. Makes me upset we paid more than we shouldhave!! Read more
My compliments to the chef, food was decent. However, service was the worst. Got seated after 10 minutes in an empty restaurant.... Music was blasting, and servers were yelling constantly about inappropriate conversations we did not want to overhear. They alsodressed like they were at home, fuzzy slippers and leggings. Got silverware and drinks after food was served. Server neverchecked in. Never refilled drinks. Walked by our table eventually and asked, ?Have I given you your check yet?? That?s it. Veryunpleasant, next time we will go to another location or Waffle House. Server received a tip out of the kindness, but heavilyconsidered leaving nothing. Read more
I believe our server was Jay...per the name at the top of our receipt. Jay had it going on, down to a science!!! So extremely... kind, polite and very attentive. Made us feel like we were truly welcome and appreciated just for being there. It's been so longit seems, since we've had such a happy and welcoming experience at a restaurant. Apparently, the manager cooked our meals andthey did not disappoint! The food was yummy and we got it pretty quickly, nice and piping hot!!! Thank you, Jay, for goingabove and beyond and out of your way just to ensure we had a good time and meal. I overheard how you treated others in yoursection as well and for getting 3 back to back seatings, you stayed calm, kind and all over awesome!!! We had the worst service & the place was nasty, i wanted to also take pictures of the 6 tables i counted full of dishes left... from previous eaters but thought they would see me, anyway no one attempted to clean any tables while we were there & one of theemployees was just sitting in a little room on his phone doing nothing, as you can see from my bathroom pics it was nasty, andour food it tasted good but i got a piece of ham that i thought was gonna be a ham steak but it was no bigger than a smallchilds hamburger patty, my husband was missing several items off of his order that should of been on it.& the waitress had thepersonality of a gnat.
