Would not order again. On top of our order being almost 2 hrs and 20 min late, there isn’t even enough food in the container... to feed 1 person let alone the amount we have. $16.50 for their popular Butter Chicken and we received exactly 8 small pieces ofchicken. The container the Samosas arrived in looks like old cabbage was left inside with samosas tossed on top. After the longwait and the hefty price tag I would have thought the food would make up for the hassle, not in the least, this meal was notworth the price. Read more

My husband and I waited an hour to get our food and it wasn’t even what we ordered. We waited another 10 minutes to even find... someone to tell about the order. It was over 60 dollars for the chicken dinner for 2, an extra naan, and two drinks. Theportions of the butter chicken and korma were tiny and we never received the extra naan we ordered. Tried because I couldn't get my usual Indian restaurant through DoorDash. Had the veggie pakora and Malai kofta. The pakora was... just okay; the relishes that came with it were not to my taste and very different from what I'm used to. The kofta was notgreat; it had no veggies in it despite the description stating it did and the flavor was pretty bland. The portion size is verygenerous which would have been great had I liked it more. Overall not bad but next time I'll just get in my car and get carryoutfrom my usual. Read more

This is my favorite restaurant in/around KC. Each dish is perfectly savory and delicious with just enough spice but not too much... and is consistently so. My partner and I usually get the Veg and Nonveg Thali and I can eat it for 2-3 meals because theportions are big for me. I love the staff - super nice, never mess up my take out orders and obviously take pride in their work,as they should. I recommend this Indian restaurant to people all the time. Found this north Indian restaurant that is yummmmy! The food is perfect, it's not too spicy, it's not too mild, and tastes of... the actual flavor of it's content. Clearly the owner like the color purple and 90 Bollywood films that make for a fun ambience. Read more

This is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the Kansas City area. The flavor profile of each dish is phenomenal and very... authentic to Indian cuisine. Takeout is always well packaged. Every single vegetarian dish here is amazing but especially thepaneer dishes and daal makhni! They are timely with their service. When asked where I wanted to go for my birthday I couldn’t decide then My wife reminded me there was a restaurant in Olathe I... wanted to try. I remembered Raj Mahal and decided it would be a good time to try it. So we got there right around 5:00 pm a pmand the place was empty. During the pandemic that’s not unusual not everyone is ready to sit down in a restaurant yet. Onceseated we ordered water and were brought small glasses. I was worried until he came back with a little pitcher and we never ranout of water! Next he brought something I don’t know what it was but he brought some mint and I believe he said tamarind sauceto dip in. No it wasn’t naan bread because he brought that with the entrees. I ordered the Coconut Curry Chicken, my wife gotthe Chicken Tikka Masala and my mom is vegetarian so she got Aloo Gobhi I think. It had potatoes and cauliflower in it and all 3were delicious! My wife and I had tried an appetizer at a different restaurant before but never tried a main course. We were soimpressed and can’t wait to go back and try something different next time! Overall I was pleased with my experience. While wewere there another couple came in for dine in, I have to add the phone never stopped ringing and people came in to pick upcarry-out non stop! My wife and I went here to try out their food and was very excited to know about their buffets as we are new to Indian food and... tasting many options I fell in love with the chicken curry.
