Although the wine was comparable to other wines in this area, they actually charge for the use of a small wine bucket and less... than a cup of ice to keep your wine chilled. When I questioned this, the woman taking money was very rude! What?s next-charging to sit at a table or charging to use the bathroom?? It just seems like a wine bucket should be standard at a winery!! Read more

Rustic setting for relaxation. They serve wines in the pavilion, and frozen wine concoctions. The Saturday we were there they... had an entertainer playing. It was a pleasant overcast afternoon and we sat outside. There are dogs that belong there and roamfreely, but they are extremely well behaved. Don't bring your own dog, they ask. I'm only visiting, but it's a very relaxingplace. We brought a board game and played. Family friendly venue for an informal time of rest. UPDATE: Responding to the whinycomplaint by the owner for only giving three stars: three stars means I liked it. I said what I said. You certainly didn't wowme with a customer friendly response to my review. Maybe that's indicative of only two stars. There is one communal bathroomthat we saw, an add-on to a building that had three unisex stalls and one common sink. I met a female customer as I exited, andshe seemed a little leery with this setup. For the Fourth of July weekend, there was a featured frozen drink called a Bomb pop, with three flavors of frozen slushy--wild cherry, tropical punch, and blue berry. This made for a patriotic appearance, but thetaste was less than dazzling. I understand part of the recipe is also Kool-Aid. There was one building that I didn't get to gointo. At the door we were redirected to the pavilion. Read more

We had some time to kill in Olathe. Stone Pillar has a fun farmhouse feel. We walked in and ordered their ?walk up? flight of... wines. Honestly, I am always skeptical of wineries outside of the major winery belts. I enjoyed the wines that I tasted verymuch. It is definitely worth a visit in any weather. Read more

We attended an Easter ?event? yesterday - being new to the area it was my first winery visit here in Kansas. We had kids ages... 8-10, Daisy our 2 year old Labradoodle and three adults. Overall we had a great time - we tried only slushies this time so Iwould like to go back and try wine and cider. There were great local Vendors throughout, kids crafts / vendors and food snacksfor purchase. The big negative is while there are dogs on-site we were asked to go put our dog back in the car as they aresadly not allowed even outside. I?ll visit the dog friendly vineyards in the area first for this reason and am not sure why anykids slushee would be $12. Overall I did enjoy our visit and would visit again if planning to leave our fur baby home. Read more

A beautiful representation of Kansas wine country. Love the easy to get to location, the wine and the slushes. But let me tell... you about the hard cider... several flavors to choose from... I recommend the one with cinnamon. Excellent! Will visit againsoon. Read more
