They have mastered the art of frying. We love their fries, fried pickles and pickled jalapeño. They also know how to cook... pork-may it be pulled pork, laua, or pork sandwiches. Definitely a place to go for deep fried comfort foods. Staff is kind andfriendly ???? keto and gluten free options are available!!! Give it a go!! Read more

I was an early supporter of this place but I've slowly stopped going over time. Now first let me say that I'm not here to... specifically dunk on the owner per say but I've watched this repeated pattern unfold over the years where he constantly fiddleswith literally everything to the point that you can actually taste the confusion in the food as his staff has to constantlyadjust to the whims of a guy who overall gives me the impression that he handles criticism rather poorly I'm afraid to say. Theestablishment literally says pork burgers and chicken strips in the logo but in the execution of that concept you will find thatyou can also order everything else under the sun that isn't rolled in to a burrito, and who knows, they'll probably haveburritos eventually as well for all I can surmise. What they won't have is the countless items that have been dropped such asthe ice cream, or the wings and gizzards, or the bazillion different side items that get routinely jettisoned after a few weeksor so and therefore the likelihood of you trying an item that you fall in love with but will never see again is pretty high.I've seen this dude order new menu boards for the displays like I don't know how many times and it's become something of agiggle to me to imagine how much money has been wasted on that alone when inevitably there will be tacky looking addendumswritten on various slips of paper notifying of the next round of revisions before you can say "The sauces are kinda mediocrearen't they?" The food isn't really the issue here though, that's looking at the problem too narrowly. What this restaurantsuffers from is a top down issue that in my opinion will eventually sink them in a market with cheaper options and moreconsistent/more expedient service despite whatever success they may have had thus far. The restaurant business is hard but thisplace seems determined to make it harder on themselves. It's definitely different but contrary to the assertion of their motto Read more

Hunger is the best spice. So make sure you come hungry, because they will not give you the spice. We used to love coming to... this place as a treat from the other fast food big shots. It's a little out of our way but the journey was well worth thetravel. Unfortunately the past several times we've gotten food there has been one issue or another. Usually it's a missingitem from our order, but tonight it was the quality of the food itself. I ordered a Hot Honey Chicken sandwich and was givenbasically three chicken tenders with the saddest, floppiest stringy bacon, unmelted cheese, mountain of pickles (probably thebest tasting thing on it) and put between two plain buns with no honey or any other seasoning. This place used to be 4-5 starevery single time, but now I got to knock it down to 2 star because they're still better than Long John Silver's....but it'sbeen a minute since I've tried them again. May have to adjust the stars again afterward. PS we still didn't get our drink fromthe combo. Read more

Food was cold Edit: came back today 9/19 and my fries are horrible. They are hard and chewy at the same time like they have... been double cooked or bad grease. But my chicken strips are delicious so I?m not sure what happened. Read more

This place was recommended to me and I love chicken strips so I thought I would give it a try. Wish they would allow you to... order a mix of crispy and grilled, but not allowed--ok, I get that. So I ordered the 5 piece crispy chicken meal that comeswith a side and mini-donut (interesting). Unfortunately, the chicken strips were about as good as gas station strips, and Ididn't realize I didn't get a donut until after I had left. Even if I had realized it, I probably wouldn't have asked forit--the staff was stiff and not very friendly so I didn't really care to ask for a donut. Even with all that, next time in townI will try them again but try the strips grilled and only get three of them just in case. Read more

Food is amazing. But they got my order wrong. I asked for grilled chicken to go and they gave me fried. I was already half way... to my destination so didn't want to drive back. Tried calling 3 times and no answer. It still gets 4 stars because the taste ofthe food is that amazing! Yea I wanted grilled but fried was still tasty, their sauces made them better. And their donuts are soyummy! Read more

I loved my chicken chili! It was my second time ordering it and it didn?t disappoint. Not too many beans and the flavor has just... enough spice. Love, love, love! The donuts were okay, not quite as good as usual, but still fine! Read more

Strips is an Olathe institution and it deserves to be. The owner, Todd, is working hard every day to produce some of the best... "fast" food around. I often get the mac & cheese bowl (pictured) and it's about as close to gourmet as you can get. But youcan't go wrong with their namesake "Strips" and their great array of sauces. I've only tried about half the stuff on the menuand have never had something I didn't love. This place is the real deal and the lines in the drive through are a testament tothat! They keep 'em moving though. Read more
