I went in on Friday night for my usual chocolate chip cookie dough with marshmallow topping. The line was long, but the staff... worked rapidly to get me and my girlfriend out of there in record time. The employees seemed happy and they were very friendly.They even let us both try two flavors each and were patient with our indecisiveness. Deep down, I knew I wanted that cookiedough sliding in my belly. Nevertheless, I bothered them for multiple samples, that they supplied happily. We will be back! Read more
My kids and I have been loyal patrons of this carvel since moving to the area a couple of years ago. The kids that work there... are all great, unfortunately I can?t say the same about the owner. After seeing other recent reviews about her terrible demeanorI felt compelled to share my experience. I have witnessed her yelling at the employees (again mostly kids) and berate them infront of customers on more than one occasion. There are so many other great ice cream spots in the area, I will be frequentingthem moving forward and not supporting this abusive person. Read more
Just had ice cream there this weekend and its just like a trip back in time! Not from the area so we had to stop when we saw one... of the few carvels left in jersey. The owner was so nice and helpful and even let me and my boyfriend sample our favorites !Cant wait to visit again ????!! Read more
If I could give this place a 0 star rating I would !!! The owner mentally and verbally abused my 15 year old little sister &... this was her first job!! Parents - if you would not want your teenage child treated in this manner then please DO NOT GO HERE.There is another carvel close by on rt 34 in Matawan which I would gladly give my business to. Terrible, sadly I was visiting with my family wanting to get some ice cream for my 4 kids my wife and I and had to leave. I... came in to hear an father discussing with the manager about firing his daughter. For giving a 2 weeks notice about a vacationthey were taking. I know where I'm from 2 weeks is sufficient amount of time. I didn't want my kids to see that it was ok for acompany to do this. The kids are trying to make money for themselves for the summer why give them a hard time - and I heard herfather say she was just 15 years old. Read more

I got a coffee ice cream shake to sweeten my drive to the shore. The shake was delicious, but the price seemed high. And the... service was subpar.
