Been here regularly every weekend during late summer and fall time, Wondersub has never disappointed us, every time same quality... and better taste. One of the best sub shop in NJ. Have been here over a dozen times--our favorite sub shop around. The bread selections are fantastic--my favorite is Crusty... Italian. They also have a wide variety of toppings, sauces, and meats/cheeses. The variety of options is what keeps us comingback. However, my most recent visit was disappointing. I paid $39 and change for one whole sub, one half sub, 1/2lb of coleslawand one bag of chips. The sub had little meat on it. I get gas prices and inflation, but if you're gonna charge that much, putenough meat on it. I felt like I had ordered from Quick Check. I don't expect to pay $20/person for takeout cold subs. Usuallywe see the owner. He wasn't out front this visit making our sandwiches. Instead, there were two kids working the counter, soI'll just chalk it up to a bad visit. The best subs in NJ, possibly the world! I love this place. They bake their own bread, and it blows competitor?s bread away.... There are several to choose out from but I go with the soft Italian. The meat quality is incredible. I love a good roast beefsub and they only use the highest quality meats. WARNING: Once you?ve had a WonderSub, every other sub from every other subshop, deli, pizzeria, or Italian restaurant will be a huge disappointment. I overheard a customer say they drove from Cape May,100 miles for a WonderSub, and it was not their first time. I was stunned that someone would drive 100+ miles for a sandwich,and I?m glad I only have to drive 2 miles down the road. Because any other sub is a disappointment now that I?ve had aWondersub. The macaroni and potato salad are really good too. They make it themselves and it is so much better than the stuffthey scoop out of Bucket at most sub shops. Try a WonderSub today, thank me later. Wonder Sub did not disappoint, all the bread is baked on site! I ordered the Jalepeno Cheddar bread with chicken and all the... "fixings". I had it toasted and it was AMAZING! FRESH ingredients and a staff that was extremely pleasant. I will 100% returnfor round 2 in the very near future. Read more
Just happened to stumble on this place and it was fabulous. All breads are home made and delicious, especially the cheddar... jalapeno. I ate the El Pollo Loco which was awesome, and I highly recommend if you like Buffalo chicken. Read more

I got the Pollo Loco and it was a delicious sub, and a lot of food especially considering I did not eat all day. I recommend if... you're going to order this sub, to ask for extra meat and double of the mayo that they use, with no lettuce. I have to make anote of that for next time. The lettuce is probably unnecessary on this sandwich, and it would be best on jalapeño cheddarbread, but they were sold out ???? The flavor of this sub was not easy to describe. Maybe it was due to my hunger, but it isindeed, a wonderful sub. It hit all my happy spots. :) The only thing I have to remove a star for is, their hours. Theyconsistently close at 7PM and are apparently going to be making changes to that soon. There are many times where I've shown up20-30 minutes after they've closed and have been very frustrated at being denied access to delicious nom noms. ???? Iunderstand there may be reasons for this. And I get that Old Bridge is a different town than where I am located, but closingthat early is just silly :( Read more
